Velan Studios cooked here. Heartbreaking scene. Barely noticeable if you’re not paying attention, but given proper weight and meaning.
Everything from the music, the subtlety of animation… bloody brilliant. I was moved, and they didn’t have to drag it out or frame it too melodramatically to make a point.
I’m so surprised I’ve found so much depth in this series. Was never interested in the franchise whatsoever before this one. I’m so glad I gave it a go. Online’s awesome too!

One year post-launch, this still feels like a fever dream.
Even with my humble collection, there are so many bangers I would NEVER have expected to see on the tiny tablet a year after launch. With SGF passing we just have to accept this as the new normal. We’re getting almost everything with zero mentions of “impossible ports”
This is everything we wanted the Switch 1 to be! Fully expecting next week’s Direct to blow my socks off. We’re living the dream!
