July 4th Hillsboro Hops Game - Parking

Bought tickets for the family to see the Hops game and fireworks for July 4th. Parking passes are sold out.

Is there a section at the stadium that doesn't require a pre-paid parking pass? (ex: pay onsite). Or do I have to find parking somewhere close-by?

What parking do you recommend?

Just over three weeks later and the strap has finally arrived. Here it is on my Longines Legend Diver 39mm white. 7.25” wrist.

Stunner SOH 42mm Blue

…always looking down at it when I wear it. Mesmerizing. This watch is meant for my wrist. It’s my most comfortable and premium-feeling watch. Perfectly contours to my wrist.

Legend Diver 39mm White - Growing on me!

It’s been five days or so. Wasn’t wowed during unboxing, but I gotta say that it’s growing on me with each day.

The pop of the white dial. The elegant simplicity of the black markings. The unique crystal. The dual crowns. The thin case. Gorgeous piece with strong presence.

Still not a huge fan of the beads of rice bracelet, so I have a quality leather strap on-order from Veblenist (Smoke with white corner stitching). Once that comes in, I feel like this will be my go-to watch.

I love Longines. My first was the Spirit Zulu Time 39mm Black with blue GMT hand, this Legend Diver 39mm White is my second, and I’m eyeing the Ultra-Chron 43mm with the red minute hand for my third (eventually).

From left to right:

  1. Seiko Kinetic (don’t remember model).

I bought this watch with my first pay check when I was 16 years old. I turn 38 in May. It was $275 out of the case at Sears. Now, the capacitor barely holds a charge and the last time I had it ‘serviced’ I think the dude lost the spring bar and ended up spot welding the bracelet to the watch head. I keep it for sentimental value.

  1. Casio A168

Got it a few years ago for under $20 on Amazon. Also got one for each of my kids. My son still wears his from time to time (he’s now three).

  1. Seiko Presage Cocktail Time 40mm

Started getting into watches and wanted something that looked timeless. Got to watching Teddy B and got this off his website.

  1. Timex 1983 e-line Re-issue

Got this one November 2024 for $186. The MSRP was $219 and I had a $32 discount (I forget why/what). Don’t wear this one much, but I like the classic aesthetic of it.

  1. Longines Spirit Zulu Time 39mm

My first big-boy watch. I also got this one towards the end of 2024. I had just started a new position at work and international travel was inevitable, so I wanted a GMT watch. This watch has been to Korea and Taiwan multiple times throughout 2025. This was my main watch for that year and I wore it up until…

  1. Breitling Superocean Heritage 42mm

After the international travel was winding down from a travel-heavy 2025, I was looking at the new Longines Hydroconquest. I ‘needed’ a diver in the collection, and since I loved the Spirit Zulu Time so much from Longines, I thought why not. My boss told me to ‘graduate’ from Longines if I were to get another. With that in mind, I went to the jeweler to try on some new Hydroconquests, but ended up falling in love with the Breitling. Better mesh bracelet, beautiful dial, and I loved the hands - snow capped mountain peak hour hand and the sword minute hand. It was definitely pricier than the Longines, but worth it IMO.

Note: while at my jeweler, I checked out some Rolex since they’re an AD and I fell in love with the Explorer II Polar. Now on their list for one.

I also have a SUUNTO Core that’s not shown. It needs a new battery. I wouldn’t wear it these days anyway. But that was my main watch while in the military.
