Lost my wallet

(SORRY IN ADVANCED FOR WRONG FLAIR, ALSO r/Oakland KEPT DELETING MY POST)

So i was bike riding during the early morning hours around 4AM-5AM around the area by the BART tracks where that large homeless encampment used to be, around E 12th St, Oakland, i was biking to Hayward, but long story short i got into an accident in which i ended up going downhill & tried to stay on the side portion of a divider & ended up twisting my front tire of my bike & flipped over twice (im okay btw just a little scuffed up), i got back up after a bit & continued my ride to Hayward but not before initially turning back to do a double check as i was at a nearby convenience store to buy some first aid supplies & a soda but realized i didn’t have my wallet & so i raced back to the area where i fell only to not find my wallet there which made me panic as I could’ve sworn i had with me but I’ve turned my home upside down & have not found it. It had my ID, 3 bank cards, Costco membership & my SSN card (forgot to take out from a job orientation i had on Friday). I’m having & have been having full on panic attacks because of that fact alone, along with the fact that my ID was also in there which has got me thinking about people using it to impersonate me which could mean that crimes I didn’t do show up on my record & prevent me from future job opportunities & random people showing up to my home. I’ve already frozen my credit with the 3 credit bureaus, I’m just paranoid.

I know this is a huge long shot but i need your help.. please, if anyone finds it please DM me immediately. (Its Legend of Zelda themed)

How long to reapply after termination from not passing probation period?

I was hired as a morning merch stocker in the cooler at a Costco Business Center warehouse, it came as a complete shock to me today, as prior my 30 day review was great aside from 1 tardy (40 minutes due to oversleeping/getting adjusted to new sleep schedule), they didn’t give me any details as to why i was being terminated aside from a vague “performance”, which is weird because ive always done my isle in a timely manner, taken cardboard to the bailer, checked my code dates, rotations & always offered to help coworkers when i was done or waiting for stuff to dropped from the steels. Around this time they told everyone that they were cutting hours at my warehouse. They did tell me i was eligible for rehire (how true is this? Or is this something they just say to make their terminated employees feel better?).

I truly loved working for this company & had made really good friends while working here, im really devastated at the fact. It was the one job that truly made me happy.. like i was genuinely happy to wake up every morning to go to work.

Edit : I am in no means trying to gain sympathy, as i left on good terms with management when i signed my paperwork (apologized, shook hands etc), but rather needing to both know & vent a little.

I just found out that i’m going to be a father. What is your best parenting advice?

So yesterday was an exciting day for me because my fiancée surprised me with the fact that she is four weeks pregnant, but we haven’t told any of our family members just yet. Therefore, I am reaching out to all the fathers of r/ AskMen with the question of tips, advice or words of wisdom you can provide me with on my upcoming role as a father. (:

This past January, an individual from China filed a Freedom of Information Act request at NTSB, which replied to him yesterday, April 29th, 2026.

Documents provided by NTSB include a report on July 2022 downloaded data, emails exchanged between NTSB & CAAC (heavily redacted), and FDR data. Since the FDR lost power when engine fuel was shut off, it did not record any data for those final minutes.

CVR, however, had a backup battery and recorded everything. According to the report, all the CVR audio recordings were successfully downloaded in “excellent quality” and given to CAAC. "No CVR audio files or other raw or intermediate downloaded files" capable of being used to create audio files were kept by NTSB.

Edit : The GitHub page got taken down, here’s the archived file with the full report - archived files
