In many of my interactions Christians will point out how they are persecuted and mistreated abroad. And yes it is wrong, but it really rings hollow. As I know many in my community ultimately lament that they are not the ones wielding the boot. I don't imagine many of the posters here or true christian subreddit are going to be up in arms about this injustice the way they do with articles about Nigeria or Middle East.

Christians are working very hard to get into bed with far right politicians. These will often mean being xenophobic and anti women. Not only does this undermine our civil liberties, but the Christian faith as well. I don't really see the Christian love in the places where the faith has the most influence.

I largely see the faith being used as a tool and many of the faithful being okay with it or apathetic tho strongly sympathizing with those who weaponize the faith. Often in these discussions about how Christianity is being leveraged politically I ask Christians why they suppose the xenophobic positions they often tie to their faith. Romans 13:1 gets tossed around. Well we have freedom of religion in the US, yet we are challenging that here in the linked article. The verse is used very passively to excuse poor behavior from parties that use Jesus branding to promote bad fruit, which is largely what people will know the religion for.

How do you use captured cleaner weapons?

On the ballistics I was trying to use the SMGs with some shock troops, the way I might use shotguns, but that did not work out super hot for me.

The cleaner magnetic rifles seem nice. They do save some early money and resources so you don't have to make accelerated rifles of your own. Wish I could loot more of them.

How do you use their weapons? In general how do they stack compared to the stuff you might make or just have available?

I really enjoyed lining up on a door in X1 opening it and having the squad unload fire and then quickly closing the door to prevent retaliation. It seems that doors can't be closed in X2 the way they were in X1 or am I doing something wrong here?

So I hired a contractor to repair my roof and extend it a bit out. This guy has given me a run around just over 6mo now. Between being sick and or some employees no showing. I have paid him the deposit he said he would need to finish the job (bit over 50%) with the rest of the rest coming after he finishes. At this point I have submitted paper work for small claims and working on a timeline of my side of events. I have also had one phone call where I tell him he I am not satisfied with the lack of progress and am looking for legal options. Recently I saw that the post office tired to deliver a letter that needed to be signed for, but didn't find me. Oddly it is from the contractor, but instead of addressing it to me it is for my parent. I am thinking of not even going to pick it up. I am the one who is suing and the one who hired them. My parent was just there to pick out the colors of things and describe some of the aesthetics. I am not sure what they are trying to do by reaching out to them instead of me. Is that odd?

So I accidentally broke a wall in an Alien Base. How do you know what walls could be broken and have a tunnel that might help flank?

E: In the first game

At one point I decided to switch over to Firefly 3 as I am adding stuff to myself host. I really liked the mobile client for FF3. Recently I discovered that GNU Cash also has a mobile app. I figured I would be cleaver and have my Nextcloud just sync the relevant files. It seems tho that once it caches things rather than read the file as it changes, so I have to keep re-opening the file.

Any work flow that does not involve re-opening the files in desktop and mobile?
