Black pearl pressed the redesign button and got a new look.

Unfortunately they haven’t been able to test it to its fullest capabilities, if only they had something bigger to test it on.

The blade that will purge the darkness in the final god of pain has been forged.

(Quick shoutout: the blade itself is a recolour of the sword the lux used created by Such-Rope8817. So shoutout to them for making the killer sword design)

I think I know why they included these skins in the pass. They’re meant to represent the different genres/types of video games

Far right skin with the helmet : kart/racing games.

Fighting lady skin: fighting games

Tactical skin: tactical/extraction fps games

Tight suit skin: probably stealth games like metal gear (this is the one I’m least sure about)

One eyed skin: open world/adventure games like legend of Zelda

Blocky skin: sandbox games like Minecraft.

Sonic: platforming games (suggested by another Reddit user but I do not remember them)

And then geno is there cause he’s a major story character.

I could be completely wrong about this but I think I got a good understanding of it.

(Fair warning: this version of abyss monarch is different from the version in ovenbreak (as in their backstory is different)

They were able to get the witches blood curtesy of first flora cookie. So now elder dragon has gone to forge the weapon they need. And while he is doing this, purple lily and Fenrir are waiting outside the room he’s in.

They went to neon blueberry’s old abandoned lab. The one he used before becoming the avatar of chaos.

Purple lily: wow, this place is…. Decrepit.

Fenrir: and it has tons of advanced tech here. Some of this stuff seems more advanced than the tbd’s tech. How is that even possible?

Purple lily: beats me. He probably got this stuff from another timeline…. Or stole it from the tbd directly and then made it better

Elder dragon: it’s probably the second option

Purple lily: fair point. Anyways, hopefully he left some stuff behind here…. I hope.

Purple lily: okay, so we got the blueprint for that weird sword. Now how do we make a light version of it?

Fenrir: we substitute the dark parts of it for light parts.

Purple lily: yeah I know that, but how? I mean the void and abyssal energy being replaced by light makes sense, and using hive runes to enhance its magical capabilities also works…. It’s the substitute for witches blood that is difficult.

Fenrir: why’s that?

Elder dragon: because that would be the binding agent that holds it all together. So unless we somehow find some spare witches blood lying around, we’ll need to find a substitute somehow.
