Connection advice for Focal IS 165

Hello,

I bought a pair of Focal IS165. 6.5" drivers with a separate tweeter. There's no separate crossover instead it looks to be attached to the woofer. But the documentation I got isn't very helpful. The diagram shows the wires from the tweeter going to the head unit, and the wires from the woofer going to the head unit. Four separate wires connecting independently to the head unit which I know isn't correct.

I was expecting either a dedicated crossover or an integrated crossover in the wire to the tweeter. Instead it looks like they've mounted it to the actual woofer. Trouble is, I don't know how I'm supposed to connect the tweeters. There looks to be five connection points on the woofer.

Looking for guidance on how to connect these speakers. I suspect it's

Head unit --> positive/negative to the outside terminals? There are already clips there that will slide nicely onto them.

You can see the tweeter just has normal +/- speaker wire. how do you recommend I connect those to the main driver and which posts to they bind to?

Thanks in advance

Is my Dodge Unique? (Stereo question)

I'm looking at dragging my 2000 slt v8 forward into the future a little bit. Namely I'm looking to get some bluetooth in there.

I have a 1.5din stock unit that only has a cassette player. (and radio)

Trying to find some documentation on how to do the removal... and I don't see any stereos like mine. I see some that have cd's, cd's and cassettes... some that have cassettes but they don't look like mine.

any links to documents on how to pull that out? bonus points for part numbers of what I'll need to fit a single din pioneer head unit in there. probably a plastic holder with a small (very small?) shelf under?

chatgpt asked if I have the infinity amplified system... I assumed I didn't. it recommended Metra 99-6000 Single DIN Installation Kit and Metra 70-1817

Random permission changes?

Hello everyone. This is my first ugreen product and so far it's been good. I have the NASync DXP4800 plus. I have a small home lab and I'm running immich via docker on a vm there. All the photos are stored on a mount on the nas. Shared folders for /Photos /Videos and /Immich. They all have pretty much wide open permissions.
nfs permissions: read/write, squash is map all users to admin. Security is AUTH_SYS and both async and allow connections from unprivileged ports are checked off. The behavior is very strange and I've been monitoring it for a while. I fairly confident I can rule out Immich as the culprit.

mount:
192.168.1.34:/volume1/Pictures /mnt/ugreen/photos nfs rw,vers=3,hard,timeo=600,retrans=2,proto=tcp,noatime,actimeo=1,_netdev 0 0

This morning I watched in real time as my completely normal immich UI started changing on me.

Image thumbnails would disappear and be replaced with the "Error generating image" icon.

logs show:

I'm working on the discord channels for both ugreen and immich. Both are pointing fingers at each other. Thought I might see if anyone here has any idea?

fyi, I wouldn't be surprised if I came back later and it was all working.

thoughts?

Replacement Badges

My 'new to me' 2000 slt v8 is missing most of it's badges and the ones that are left are a bit beat up . not really important but curious of anyone has a source for getting replacements?

Do derailleurs require a magician?

I just converted my old Gary Fisher Paragon from a 3x7 to a 1x10. By all accounts it's done and works well.

disclaimer: this was a labor of love and I know it doesn't make a lot of sense.

New wheel, hub, cassette, derailleur, chain, shifter and brake lever. All new cables and cable housings... Everything works, I've taken it on a few rides now. But I can't get my rear derailleur tuned properly

I've been fiddling with bikes my whole life and I've never once managed to tune a derailleur to the point where I was happy. I usually have to bring in a friend or take it into the shop... why does it have to be so touchy?

2000 Dakota SLT Cruise Control... A thought exercise.

So I was driving around the other day in my truck. Listening to my stock stereo and I thought... I should probably swap that out so I can get some bluetooth all up in here. (we only have one station in town).

While thinking on that possibility I couldn't help but notice the cruise control buttons on the side of my steering wheel. Now... it's possible that my truck has cruise control, I don't know... I don't care. It's past it's cruising days. But it seemed like a darn shame to have those buttons just sitting there vestigial. I thought... "I wonder if I could usurp the function of those buttons to be something else? Like, say... vol up/down and track up/down (maybe cancel could be source?)

I'm not handy or technical. But on this truck I've decided that I'm willing to try stuff out cuz worst case... "oh no! I ruined my cruise control buttons"

thoughts?
