My mini begonia forest.

I got these all in the past few months. They were rather tiny when acquired. They're thriving!

Begonia Maculata

I was handed this begonia maculata as a couple of struggling twigs with 2 leaves. I did a little research (some of which came from redditors like yourselves) and this little thing is off to the races!

I started with a small terracotta pot and soil designed for orchids. It gets a splash of AM sun and then the lighting becomes indirect for the remainder of the day. I also put it outside to soak up a good rainstorm when they roll through. I'm constantly impressed at the colors and rate of growth. The backs have a lovely shimmer to them.

Kayak disposal suggestions

I was recently gifted a Pelican Sandbank 100xp that has seen much better days. I was thinking I could just replace the seat and other soft items. I can't find any replacement parts, so I'm just trying to get rid of the thing now. How best to dispose of an old plastic kayak?

Run away! Dragging out the bitter end.

You're the last boat on your team and defeat is certain. Why do you insist on dragging it out by running and hiding? Why not just have some fun and make a Leroy Jenkins run into the enemy? It's more fun for eveyone.
