I built an app for all the things I want to experience with my kid someday

The idea came from a problem I kept having myself.
I’d see a movie, game, book or activity and think:
“This would be great to do with my son.”

But often he’s simply too young for it right now.
And realistically, by the time he’s old enough, I’ll probably have forgotten half of those ideas.

So I built Kids Bucket List.

It’s a small app for collecting things you want to experience with your child — whether that’s next weekend or years from now.

You can organize ideas into categories, create your own activities, assign them to your kids and keep everything synced across your Apple devices.

I originally started it as a pretty simple side project, but it slowly turned into a full SwiftUI app for iPhone and iPad with CloudKit sync, and a Mac version on the way.

It’s now live on the App Store:

Would genuinely love some feedback — especially on the core idea. Is this something you could see yourself using?

Shipped Kids Bucket List

I finally shipped Kids Bucket List – a SwiftUI app for all the things I don’t want to forget doing with my kid
The idea started with a pretty simple thought:
I constantly come across movies, games, books or activities that I’d love to experience with my son someday — but he’s simply too young for many of them right now.

And I realized that by the time he’s old enough, I’ll probably have forgotten half of those ideas.
So I built Kids Bucket List.

It lets you collect things you want to experience with your child, organize them into categories, and keep them around for the right moment — whether that’s next weekend or several years from now.
From the development side, this became a much bigger project than I originally expected:
• SwiftUI
• iPhone + iPad support
• CloudKit sync across devices
• StoreKit / RevenueCat for Premium
• Family Sharing
• Custom categories and activities
• A Mac version is also on the way

The iPhone/iPad version is now live on the App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kids-bucket-list/id6762488504

This was also my project for the RevenueCat Shipathon, so actually hitting the release button feels pretty good after all the TestFlight builds, sync bugs and App Review waiting. 😄
Would love to hear what you think — especially from other iOS developers.

I built a free tool for creating App Store & Google Play screenshots

**I built a free App Store screenshot generator because I couldn’t find one I liked**

While working on my own apps, I kept running into the same problem: creating App Store and Google Play screenshots.

I tried a number of tools, but most of them were either subscription-based, added watermarks, or felt more complicated than they needed to be.
As a small side project, I decided to build my own.
It’s called **ShotForge** and it’s a free, browser-based screenshot generator for the App Store and Google Play Store.

So far it includes:
iPhone & Android device frames
Drag & drop editor
Custom backgrounds and gradients
High-resolution exports
No sign-up
No watermark

It’s still an early project, and I’m actively improving it.
I’d love to hear what other iOS developers think.
What do you dislike about existing screenshot tools?
Which features would make a tool like this genuinely useful for you?

If you’d like to try it:

Any feedback is very welcome. Thanks!
