Sleepwear for 4 month old who no longer tolerates sleep sacks?

LO just turned 4 months old, is EBF, and just started rolling over a week ago.

Her usual sleep pattern is to start in the sidecar pack and play from around 8pm until she gets too restless, anywhere from 2am-6am, at which point I bring her into bed with me for the rest of the night. We normally keep the thermostat at 70-71 overnight.

From birth until about a month ago, she slept in either an arms up swaddle sack or a sleep sack/wearable blanket with a onesie shirt underneath. When I brought her into bed I would remove the sleep sack so she didn’t overheat being close to me.

However, we were visiting my parents out of state for the past month, and their house is much warmer at night, more like 76-79, so I dropped the swaddle and just had her sleeping in a onesie to stay cool.

Now that we are back home, she absolutely won’t tolerate the sleep sack - she constantly kicks and flails trying to kick it off. I have tried leaving it completely open and zipping it up later when she’s in a deeper sleep, but she just starts kicking in her sleep. She also kicks off any blankets.

However it’s too cool in the room to have her totally bare legged.

I’m planning to order some 100% cotton footless bodysuits and will put socks on her, but unsure if that will be too warm when she comes to the big bed? She also might still need a light blanket when in her own bed…

Is there any other solution I’m missing?

Do all babies go through 4 month sleep regression?

I keep hearing incessant both on various subs and in real life about the 4 month sleep regression…are there any babies who don’t go through this??

My LO just hit 16 weeks and has been a great sleeper from day one, but everyone keeps warning me of what is coming. Just curious if anyone did not experience this!

Most breathable ring sling of all?

I recently got my first ring sling (a linen/viscose blend from Wildbird) and am loving using it with my 3 month old. We will be traveling to India in the fall where it will still be quite hot as in 90+ degrees, and I’m wondering what is the absolute coolest ring sling out there?

Pure linen? Silk? Cotton waffle weave? Bamboo? Is the one I have already cool compared to others?

Thank you!

I just got this linen blend ring sling used from eBay and we’re trying it for the first time - any tips?

It feels pretty comfy to me and baby went right to sleep so she seems comfy as well at least!

I regularly use a Lillebaby and a Boppy but she’s starting to feel heavy in the stretchy Boppy so I wanted to try out a sling.

Baby is 3.5 months old and is around 16 pounds.

Hello!

My little sister (18 year old) will be studying abroad in London starting in September.

For a high school graduation gift, I’d like to give her some gift cards that she can use to shop for fun things over there - clothes, knickknacks for her dorm, novelty groceries - things that are useful for a student on a budget but still more fun than only giving cash.

What are some stores relevant to a young student, who have e-gift cards available that I could purchase online from the USA using dollars?

TIA!
