I read that cats can have hallucinogenic-like reactions to spider plants, so this morning I picked a pup from mine and put it on the floor.

After dinner, Chives barreled into the living room with chaos in his eyes. This cat is calculated and serious, but tonight he was wouuuuund for souuuund.

He was carpet surfing, chasing a string and at one point rolled off the couch trying to get it.
Truly have never seen him so happy to be alive. Zoomies on steroids. It was my favorite Chivvy moment maybe ever.

I found Burle Marx Flame monsteras and white knight philodendrons at the North Riverside Costco yesterday for $8! I remember looking at Burle Marx flames during Covid when cuttings were like $400 😭

It had some fungus gnats and some pest residue so I did a full repot and wash before I put her in quarantine, but I wanted to share the good news for others who may be on the hunt!

Stopped into my local Costco yesterday and found this beauty for $8!

It looked like she had some issues so I brought her home, removed her soil, washed her roots and leaves, and now she’s in my sunroom for quarantine!! I’m hoping I didn’t shock her too much but I couldn’t tell if she had pest residue or dried dust from transport. Time will tell!!

My partner has had this String of Hearts for years. It has always been objectively fine, but has been with us through many seasons of poor light conditions, depression neglect, cat chewing, etc.

We recently moved and I put this plant beside a candle warmer on a top shelf, mostly to keep it away from pets. Within days, this plant has become OVERJOYED at its new conditions. Putting out new growth galore, including an entirely albo leaf??

Anyway we’re going to begin to take some real care of her, just wanted to share!! 💕
