2026 upgrade

2026 upgrade

Upgraded from a 2023 wilderness to a 2026 wilderness. Went for the highest trim level this time with Napa leather, ventilated seats, moon roof, heated steering wheel, navigation etc.

Say what you want about the new body style but I didn't realize it could get better! Turning, steering, suspension, touch screen responsiveness, adaptive cruise control... all better. I admit I was a bit nervous about this upgrade but after 1 night of cruising, I don't regret it at all!

House rules for an adult teen (nephew)? - I've never been a parent...

Long story short, my husband and i might be inviting my nephew (not blood related) to move in. He newly graduated high school and is 18. He's currently living in a crappy situation, sleeping on the couch at his grandma's and his parenting situation hasn't prepared him to be an adult. We'll need to get him a birth certificate, social security card, learners permit, a job......etc. He really is a great kid but will need a lot of guidance. My husband and I choose not to have kids and we're in our late 30s. We're trying to make a list of things we'll need to do to prepare and plan to have him sign a lease in the event things go sideways but we also just need some house rules. This is what we have so far:

  1. No house guests in the first 6 months without our permission (we have cameras).

  1. He will be assigned chores he's expected to do.

  1. He will pay for our increase in car insurance once he has a job and will contribute to a savings account.

  1. Keeps his room clean/ no dishes.

  1. Helps with pets when needed.

  1. No overnight guests until TBD.

  1. House meetings will be held at least once a month to determine how things are going.

  1. Housing situation will be reassessed every 6 months (in case things aren't going well), reinforced with lease.

He has been my nephew since he was 3, regardless of not actually being related to me and I need to make sure that we start this situation off with as clear expectations as we can get. Any advice would be great.

Wegovy shot to foundayo

I lost 50lbs on wegovy but was stagnant for the last 5 months. When I upped the dose from 0.5mg to 1mg I had mild nausea and when I went from 1mg to 1.7mg I ended up with severe nausea and vomiting. I was on 1mg for about 4 months before trying to go up. I just picked up my prescription for foundayo and I'm wondering if others that had nausea issues with wegovy have similar issues or not with foundayo? My insurance currently only covers these two meds so I'm hoping this one is better.
