Randomly Short Luteal Phase?

Posting this because I truly did not anticipate this situation and really curious if anyone else had had this experience. My cycles are 24-27 days and very regular. More often than not 25-26 days. I’ve been tracking ovulation with OPKs, Inito, and CBAD. I also have an Oura ring and track temps. I’m not lacking data. I ovulated and confirmed ovulation on CD13. I typically have 13-14 day luteal phases every month. My ovulation day has been earlier but my luteal phase is like clockwork. This cycle I am projected to start my period on Friday or Saturday (CD 27/28 for a 26-27 day cycle length). I’m CD25 today and 12 DPO and have seemingly started my period or have started spotting and will start my period later today. I’m super confused by this as I know my ovulation day and confirmed it with temps and progesterone increase.

I didn’t think your luteal phase could shorten suddenly. I’m so confused and already have developed pretty bad health anxiety from all the data and tracking the last few months. Is there anyone who’s experienced a randomly shorter luteal phase????

I’ve included my chart. I stopped tracking at 7DPO but you can see where my Pdg was doing pretty well, even when it went down. I’m so so so confused.

Needing Some Encouragement

Really just posting this seeking some prayers or positive vibes and maybe some words of encouragement. It’s been a tough several months with timing being off, weird cycles, anxiety, stress, and everything in between. I am so encouraged by my chart this month and my body ovulating strongly. I had all the signs of a good ovulation—healthy amounts of CM, felt like we timed things well, and now a good rise in PdG. It was a solid cycle (so far) and I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up because I fear having another unsuccessful cycle with all things going well will absolutely devastate me.

Would love some words of encouragement or ways yall cope with the TWW and not swinging between overly optimistic and overly pessimistic. I’m starting to feel my mood fluctuate quite a bit over it and frankly, I’m very tired.

My chart is confusing the hell out of me because my estrogen has been high-ish since CD6 and the last few days has been climbing and now is maxed out but still no LH surge with Inito. My OPKs are getting darker (high but not peak/positive) and my Clearblue Advanced Digital ovulation test showed a solid smiley today after it was flashing the last two days so I presume my LH is rising but Inito is not picking it up at all? I’m so frustrated. My temps are still below baseline and my progesterone has not risen yet so I know I haven’t ovulated but it seems like it is very slow and/or I missed it completely maybe over night? Has anyone else seen this?

I will also add that I started taking CoQ10 consistently a couple months ago and that has helped lengthen my cycle some or at least level it out. I’ve always had somewhere between 24-27 day cycles, even prior to my first baby and both pre and post birth control(s). Last year was really stressful for me and my cycles went from pretty consistently 26 days to about 24-25 more often so I know I was ovulating earlier. We started TTC at the beginning of the year and haven’t had the best luck with timing so I purchased Inito. First month I used it, I had a 23 day cycle and ovulated on CD9. Completely missed it. Inito didn’t pick up LH at all. So the last two cycles I’ve incorporated OPKs and CBAD to confirm. I also have an Oura ring and NC app so I have everything and can confirm I have ovulated based on temps but my temps can be a little erratic due to frequent middle of the night wake ups (thanks to my 2 year old and two dogs). All that being said, my last cycle was 26 days. I ovulated late CD12. Today is CD12 and I am wondering if this is trending towards a CD13 ovulation.

Any thoughts? I’ve got so many data points and they’re all telling me different things.

Hi. I’m feeling so dumb for posting this but this journey has been really emotionally difficult and draining and I’m trying to keep myself from spiraling. This is my third cycle using Inito. My first cycle was so strange because I ovulate 2-3 days earlier than normal and I already have shorter cycles (24-27 days). I never caught an LH surge and probably missed the timing altogether because it was so odd. My cycle was 23 days that month. It’s never been that short. The following cycle, my hormones were a bit more balanced and looked really good. I ovulated either late CD12 or early CD13 and had a normal 26.5 day cycle (period started later in the day, which isn’t common for me, and I bled a little more than my standard 4 days). The short cycle really freaked me out because it made me worried something was wrong and my brain went to perimenopause, diminished ovarian reserve, or something completely out of whack with my hormones. My next cycle where it was back to normal felt so much more reassuring that my body is ok. However, I just finished my period and am back on my way to ovulation timing again. I tested yesterday on CD5 and today on CD6 to see my baseline hormones. Everything looked fine yesterday. Today, however, my e3g value shot up very high. It made me worried that my body is trying to ovulate really early again. I haven’t seen many charts like mine with an e3g value so high so early in their cycle. I’m hoping it doesn’t mean ovulation is imminent and I ovulate on CD9 again. Really wanting my body to level out and go back to the consistency I had before I started using Inito. Funny how that happens when you start tuning in more.

Anyway, anyone else have cycles like this or higher estrogen values this early on in their cycle? Would love to hear some thoughts on if this is at all normal or not.

Lastly, I’ll add that I have never been diagnosed with anything, have very very regular cycles and confirmed ovulation via BBT through my Oura ring.
