AI TUTOR SCHEDULE

Hi, if you already work as an AI Tutor, please let me know how it goes. I received my onboarding call invite and it says I am expected to work 9:00 to 5:30 Pm PT and my own time zone after the first week. During recruiting I was told I could work whenever as long as it was 40 hours a week, is this not the case ? I was hopping to work around my schedule.

Received a congratulations email and then nothing

Hi yall, I am trying to understand if this is normal. I did the interviews, received the “congratulations we would like to send you an employment offer” sent my details through their new hire form and then crickets. I followed up and the recruiter answered a couple questions I had and said the contract would be sent last week but nothing came. I followed up and had no response yet. Is this normal for xAI? I thought they moved fast? The start date I selected is in a week from now so I don’t think it will happen if they need to clear background check etc. The role is AI tutor.

Thanks

My 5 year old behavior worries me

My 5 year old got diagnosed with ADHD but I am not sure if these things are part of the diagnosis. I am writing this as he just stumped his little brother for no reason on his way to bed. If he stomped any other spot, he could have hurt my 3 year old seriously. He got his legs, my little one cried, I had a serious talk but nothing gets through him. No matter what he always looks proud of himself for being bad. Then he tells me “I don’t know why I do these things” but as right now it sounds like an excuse. I got a referral to a parent and child behavior therapy but there’s a long waitlist to in person therapy in my area. I remember when he was 3, I was moving a laundry machine downstairs with my kids dad (we are divorced for context) and on the way down I heard my youngest that was a little over one year, crying so much and when I checked my oldest has the pack and play mattress on top of him and was pushing the mattress on his face like suffocating him. But he was only 3. He does mean things for no reason all the time. Most times things like pushing, whispering to his brother to do bad things, things like that. He is not always mean, he can be very sweet too when we are playing together etc. this behavior is mainly directed at his brother. I put him on Jiu jitsu hoping it would help channel this behavior but it hasn’t worked so far. He starts kindergarten this week and I am afraid he’s either going to be picked on due to his odds behaviors (he whines a lot when things are not done his way etc etc) or he will be a bully. Is this somewhat normal behavior for a 5 year old boy? How can I help him to do better?
