Sorry if this was obvious - I’m curious if Kaine wanted Helena to get her memories back about him and remember everything? Like leaving the newspaper behind and giving her certain responses, I was curious about it. But also he’s so keen on her hating him that maybe he didn’t want her to?

This is the part where he is drugged. Is it because he was loopy and wanted to? Or like forgot to not do it in public? Or didn’t care anymore?? Lol

Okay so I've recently finished the series, and naturally, I'm left to overthink every little detail that’s happened. I'm rereading Fourth Wing, and I'm confused why Xaden tries to protect her from having her memories read by Jeremiah (the fourth year that's started to read people's mind); he steps in front of her and tell her to recite nerdy book stuff so that nothing important is read.

Okay hear me out: what if this next novel with Violet trying to uncover her lost memories from Imogen leads to her unlocking other memories that have been locked away (not necssarily by Imogen)? I keep thinking about how her mother says that her father taught her everything she will need to know, and how they've prepared her. It seems there's more to uncover with what her mom and dad had planned for her, since too little was said by her mom in her final moments. Her mom and Xaden have also had a deal in the past to protect her, so I could see it being extended to protect some sort important information that Violet stores.

I'm also rereading moments over and over again and probably delirious LMFAO!

Is anyone else hoping Xaden's villain era will be dark LMFAO. I sound like a sadist, but we barely got evil Xaden in Fourth Wing, so I wouldn't mind him becoming sexy morally grey in the next novel. I really hope Rebecca isn't just hyping it up to us. Can't wait for the evil dream sexy scenes either hehehehe....

Or do you guys wish loving/soft Xaden will come back soon?

In IF, Xaden kept rejecting Violet's advances until she would say "I love you" again. Why the hell was this such a big deal? Also, why couldn't HE just say it first??

I love Xaden but ngl this STILL pisses me off LOL. Kinda toxic

I started the book series last week and have FLOWN through them.

The end of Onyx Storm left me shocked. >!Who on earth do we think Xaden is calling his brother? My first instinct is that it's Bodhi, because why else would be marry Violet in such a rush? But also, I don't remember Xaden actually calling him his brother, so why would he in his POV. !<

I've recently started watching this anime (I'm late I know!), and i'm wondering if Mao Mao knew who her mom was the whole time. In e24, when she sends Lakan to buy out a courtesan, it seems she meant for him to find out she was alive. When did she find out? Why did she want Lakan to find out at this point?
