I'm an 18yo school leaver looking for any job to get some cash before uni next year and was wondering if this is good, I've incorporated a lot of the changes you all suggested (although not all)

18yo without much non academic experience

I'm applying for entry level jobs, think supermarkets etc, and I was wondering if you think this is any good? I understand it'll always be a bit tough cause they'll know I'm going to uni, so probably don't want to hire me cause I'll disappear in a couple months, so I'm wondering if there's any good way around that other than just miss it off? Plus is there anything much you think needs changing on it?

Edit: I've made some changes, what do you think? https://www.reddit.com/r/CVwriting/s/lShhLpPs5C

Those who are having or already had proms in this heat, have you got any tips?

I'm genuinely terrified for the sweat patch that I'll have, and the smell of the venue will be awful. Anyone got any tips?

Applying for a summer job with low experience

Hi, I'm looking to write a CV to apply for a job in the summer holidays and I'm a bit unsure the best way to write it as a lot of the experience and skills I have is a lot more academic and not particularly relevant to the retail type jobs I'd likely be applying to, so I'm looking for some tips.

I'm just finishing A levels (so I'm 18) and am predicted very good grades (all A* in stem subjects), very good GCSEs and excellent uni offers, but I'm not sure how much to mention and talk about them, cause they're all for engineering? Also, I don't have very much previous experience apart from a week at an engineering firm and a week at a molecular biology lab, that again I'm slightly unsure how to incorporate into it?

I do have some other past experiences, like volunteering to help with scouts and the DofE award that I guess I could use to say I'm a good team worker but not crazy much apart from that.

What did everyone do for the arrows in the unseen mechanism? I genuinely had no clue what's correct

I did one from the bond between the center carbon and the O+ to the O+, and another from the OH bond to the CO bond to form a carbonyl

Edit: OCR cause I forgot to put the exam board

How many alarms do you all set when you have a morning exam?

Currently I have 4 across 2 devices, plus the failsafe of parents, but knowing me I'll still manage to sleep through them
