Why don't we hear about the brutal methods McDonald's used against Old MacDonald and his farm?

Seems like the guy was just chilling peacefully on his farm with an oink oink there and a moo moo there, but then corporate America came in and turned his chickens into a paste and added sawdust from the casket Old MacDonald built after they killed his wife to make chicken nuggets. Even their current CEO can't eat their burger product because he knows the company's past with Old MacDonald and his trials he endured as a slave. Are you guys just missing out on the real history or something?

What if world governments finally revealed aliens exist, but ruined a secret agreement that governments sell human meat to aliens that consider it a delicacy in exchange for not being colonized and farmed like animals?

Also yes, the aliens immidately reveal themselves to humans after and begin their plan to turn humans into livestock.

Sex Education pop quiz instead of age verification for porn websites

Honestly, it could probably work for keeping particularly young people off the wrong sites. Obviously there's AI and stuff to answer the questions, which is why it needs a 10 second timer on each question. Multiple failed questions block your IP from the website for a day, repeated failures permanently unless you can write an essay about a random sex topic. Might also keep the weirdo porn addict adults off the websites too.

What if Ricky LaFleur got elected as The Prime Minister of Canada in 2015 as a part of the Communist Party because "communists must throw great parties if the whole world keeps doing it"?

Why didn't Napoleon just use Rosetta Stone to learn another language instead of stealing the Rosetta Stone from Egypt?

Surely he could have just hopped on his computer and loaded Rosetta Stone to learn another language besides French instead of stealing an artifact? Also he kinda screwed up because the British did their "favourite" national passtime of double dog stealing artifacts that they didn't own. Was Napoleon just dumb or something using the stone copy?

I thought this debate was settled over a century ago, but apparently not. There's no reason why Washington DC should be using this outdated and far more inefficient power technology compared to AC. Are they just dumb or something?

Hello. Not sure if this is the right subreddit for this question, but like most people, the madate in the 2021 Infrastructure Act mandating surveillance systems in new cars has many people concerned about their privacy and rights as car buyers. Obviously these are newer, uncharted waters for law, but I'm curious about what rights car buyers have if they wish to disable these mandated systems on cars that they own. There are two methods that they could take that I would like to expand on in my question.

My question basically boils down to this: are mechanics legally allowed to disable these systems, and if not, can the buyer personally disable them themselves? At what point do consumers' rights kick in on what, for now, seems to be a required feature for new cars while older cars on the road are still permitted on the road without these systems or even modern safety features like backup cameras or automatic emergency braking? Could this open up lawsuits for consumers if removing it permanently disables their vehicle, or potentially go the other way with courts siding with the 2021 Act if an accident occurs due to something these mandatory systems could have prevented?

Anyway, thank you for any information you can provide.

Bit of a joke here, but what I'm really asking is if the Indian subcontinent never rammed into Asia and remained a large land mass in the Indian Ocean isolated from the rest of the world. Who might find it first?

I only thought of this because human efforts to stop invasive species seem like quite an uphill/impossible battle. What if we just said, "Fuck It" and intentionally shipped every invasive species across the whole planet to try and achieve a new equilibrium with nature so that invasive species are no longer a problem for humanity? Afterward, we could bioengineer crops and plants to survive better and not have to worry about invasive species destroying the food supply.
