Hey all. I work at the mall, but I noticed a bunch of people camped out at the top floor near the food court when I walked in today. Some people brought lawn chairs and seemed to have been there for a while. Is there some kind of store opening or something today?
This has been one of my favorite blues rock albums for a long time, but there's this one section in the track Parthenogenesis (10:30) where they switch to a much heavier sound that just sounds amazing. It's a bit psychedelic, very heavy, very doomy, and it still has those blues riffs underneath all of the noise. Anybody have any suggestions for anything that sounds similar? I could listen to a whole album that sounds like that one section.
Probably not a question that gets asked around here a lot. I live in PoCo and recently started getting into Smash Bros Melee. The game store here (Treasure Chest) apparently used to have occasional informal Melee locals, but it doesn't seem like it happens anymore from what I've asked.
There's apparently some locals in Vancouver, but that's a bit far from where I'm from and a bit hard to work into my schedule. If anybody knows any events, I'd be happy to hear it!
Hey all. This is my (21M) childhood bedroom, and I've been in this room for about 10 years now. We had some asbestos flooring, so pretty much everything has been ripped out, and replaced with laminate. I had to take all my furniture/belongings, and I've only really returned a handful of things. Had a much larger figurine collection but honestly I'm not sure I intend to keep most of them.
I think at this point I'm wondering, what's the next move? I don't really know what to do for wall decoration, the only things I had before were two game posters, the rest of the walls being fully blank.
As is, I'm thinking a small rug is gonna do me well, not sure what color would work best though. I'm thinking lots of green would look great in here, both a green bedspread and a green carpet. Unfortunately my landlord does not want us painting, so I have to keep the wall the same color.
Any advice would be appreciated!
