I have never seen something like this being hauled along Harbourfront. Is there an expansion project in progress?
Recently learned about the sad news of such an iconic cultural center closing its doors in Downtown. I borrowed Japanese language course books from them sometime ago... you don't find those kind of books anywhere else in downtown easily :(
Seriously, why does it always rains/snows on the weekend? What am I supposed to do with a bright sunny day on a stupid work day, when I am in the office most of the day??!!!
Pizza - North of Brooklyn (please don't do takeout as it is a night & day difference)
Burger - Crack Burgers (Matty's Patties does better fries)
Italian - Gio Rana (the hype is real)
Vietnamese - Pho Tien Thanh for Pho (I don't think they are as good any more, but I haven't found anything better yet), Banh mi Boyz for Banh mi
Korean - Jin Dal Lae (can't vouch for their Korean BBQ as I haven't tried it)
Ramen - Raijin (recently Machida Shoten has been elite as well)
Tacos - Nothing that'll be good, sorry. You will just have to fly to Mexico city.
Indian/Pakistani - Karahi Boyz
Cafe - Ethica is S-Tier coffee
Middle Eastern - Nothing of note in downtown
Ice cream - Good behaviour (used to be a fan of ice creamanology but they have not been consistent of late)
Baked goods - Ba Noi (thanks to this subreddit for the recommendation)
Please note that my taste is subjective, and this is a list for someone living in core downtown. Merci!

As a Torontonian, it was a pleasant surprise to see the CN tower beautifully wrapped. Also, I had no idea about the fireworks which I only found out about during my usual walk around Harborfront and seeing a large crowd gathered!
Thank you so much for representing the city. You had no reason to do an all out firework show for the city, but you did. I am so grateful! Love this city, and the people who give back to it!
I am looking to do a morning coffee run this weekend. What's the place you want to give a shoutout to for the best coffee and baked goodies combination in the city?
I just came back from a 9 day mind blowing trip and I wanted to say thank you for the splendid time you gave me! The people are so respectful and warm, so much history and culture to absorb, and the food left me speechless. Sorry for the generic compliments but words can't ever describe how lucky I am to experience Mexico city!
Thank you, and I can't wait to be back!
