I feel a sudden calling to climb atop this and look out for a certain car speeding away

Please add a timer to the starting deck selection screen

They really should add some sort of inactivity timer to the starting deck selection screen, at the very least in ranked. Ideally, it wouldn’t kick the player, it would just force the game to start. I see far too many people abusing the lack of one to try and get the other to disconnect out of boredom. It doesn’t take so long just to pick which cards you want to trade out.

Atomic bombs card idea

Little Boy:

Costs 30 Kredits

Deals 19 damage (not 20 so that it can be countered by strong defense)

Damages all units in enemy support line

Fat Man:

Costs 28 Kredits

Deals 10-15 damage (depending on strength of the next effect)

Deals lingering damage over time to all units in enemy support line - each turn they take 1-2 damage, effect remains for set number of turns and hits new units deployed as well

Possible condition to help balance these: “Radiation zone” effect where frontline becomes irradiated and deals damage over turns to all units moved into it, friendly or enemy

China should be added as a major nation

If China is ever added, it should be as a major nation. The massive scale of China’s war effort against invading Japan is largely overlooked in WW2 media. So, making China a new major nation would be both historically accurate and help get more attention to this underappreciated fact.

They could do this in a few ways - combine nationalist and communist forces under the same nation category, or make nationalist forces the main nation and communist forces the ally nation.

How do you fight Japan+Poland?

I have this skill issue where I can’t for the life of me beat these decks. My two main decks are Pedal to the Metal and a US/France deck.

Is there any good reason to move fighters to the frontline?

Aside from some exceptions like the Brewster F2A, is there really any good reason to put fighters in the frontline? It seems like unnecessary risk when they can just attack anywhere from the backline. The only scenarios I can think of would be freeing up backline space for a more powerful unit or preventing an infantry-heavy enemy deck from getting frontline, but even then I find myself just destroying both the fighter and its target in combat rather than moving it. Was especially wondering about this as I’ve been using the Finest Hour deck lately, which is mostly air-units and whose main method of damage are its fighters.

Weather cards

So the first new weather cards have been revealed. Honestly, I’m a little bit disappointed. They just feel like reskinned Orders instead of more unique cards. The Storm cards in particular seem like little else than a sibling of cards like Carpet Bombing and Death from Above. I have an idea to make them more interesting and realistic: Make the devastation they do able to hit your own cards as well. They couldn’t control the weather for military means in the 40s, all sides were subject to its whims, so this would play into the unpredictability element and also make the cards a sort of high risk, high reward gamble, which is way more exciting.
