I’m a colouratura soprano so I have a very small voice and it makes me kinda sad cause no matter how hard I try to make my voice sound like it has more weight my dad still will say my voice sounds thin.

Do they prefer ballads or pretty pop songs for singing?
Was there a certain type of artists they seemed to prefer hearing?
The girls that were selected so far, how good were they at singing?
Do they ask singers to dance?
How much time do we get to sing and should I skip to a more vocally challenging part of the song or just sing from the beginning?
How many songs should I have prepared?
I started taking minoxidil and Spironolactone at the same time for about 3 months and in that time span it made my nose a lot bigger, prob due to water retention cause I know that Spironolactone can cause that. I was just wondering how long will it take for my face to go back to how it was before I was taking that medicine?
My dad has never liked my singing voice always saying it sounds unpleasant and lacks bass too it, I am a high soprano so my voice is very high pitched, anyways he has discouraged me from chasing my dream of being a singer since forever, even going as far as sabotaging me on a competition day or tearing me down whenever I would sing for him and say it’s awful. Even when I almost got casted for a singing show and have a following on social media FOR my singing, he still says it’s no good. I know it’s bad to want approval from my dad, but in my eyes if my dad thinks I’m a good singer then that means I really have a chance to make it in this industry? You would think your biggest critique would be urself but for me it’s my dad.
Does anyone know why he would dislike my voice so much?
So basically right now I top out at a c7 whistle note with my everyday range but I wanna know if it’s possible to stretch it to an e7, I really want to be able to do the last whistle notes in emotions Mariah Carey. I just don’t know the safest way to approach it without damaging my vocal corda cause I know whistle notes are hard on the voice.
