On 28th June, Testbook silently charged me ₹649 for "Yearly Pass Pro" renewal — a plan they apparently discontinued. Now they're only offering "Testbook Pass" at ₹499. I don't even mind the extra ₹150 (keep the change, whatever), but the subscription is still not activated on my account even after the payment went through. I've repeatedly contact the support team and all i get is computerised responses and no resolution.
How does a company:
•Kill an old plan
•Auto-charge for the dead plan anyway
•Charge more than their current rate
•And then fail to activate anything
...all without any proper notification or consent?
This is next-level shady. Automatic renewals should at least activate the damn subscription. I've seen so many students complaining about Testbook's billing and activation issues lately. Feels like they're hoping people won't notice the random debits.
If you're a student using Testbook. Check your bank statements RIGHT NOW. Turn off auto-renewal before they hit you too.
Anyone else facing the same issue?

The 5-Day Medical Examination Roadmap:::
The testing process typically unfolds in a systematic, departmental sequence:
Day 1: Laboratory Investigations & Imaging
Blood Tests: Screening for anemia, blood sugar irregularities, lipid profiles, and markers indicating systemic infection or metabolic dysfunction.
Urine Analysis: Testing for the presence of albumin, sugar, or microscopic hematuria to evaluate renal function.
Chest X-Ray: Screenings look for structural spinal deformities (such as mild scoliosis), rib anomalies, or old tubercular lesions.
Abdominal/Pelvic Ultrasound: Screening explicitly for organomegaly (enlarged liver/spleen) and internal stones (Renal Calculi or Gallstones).
Day 2: Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) & Basic Ophthalmic Screening
Hearing Test: Candidates must clear a "forced whisper" test from a distance of 610 cm (20 feet) in a silent room for each ear independently.
Nose and Throat: Doctors check for a Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS) that significantly impairs breathing airway mechanics, chronic tonsillitis, or vocal cord issues.
Day 3: Surgical Examination
Musculoskeletal Geometry: Strict assessment for structural issues including Knock Knees (Genu Valgum), Bow Legs (Genu Varum), Flat Feet (Pes Planus), and the Elbow Carrying Angle (which must not exceed 15° for males).
General Surgery Screening: Direct evaluation for conditions such as Hernia, Hydrocele, Varicocele, Phimosis, or Piles.
Hyperhidrosis: Checking for pathologically sweaty palms, which can compromise weapon handling or climbing.
Day 4: Detailed Eye & Dental Examinations
Vision Standards: Distant vision must meet 6/6 or 6/9 parameters. Refractive errors are assessed meticulously. Color Blindness (failing the Ishihara plates test below CP-II standards) results in an immediate, absolute Permanent Rejection.
LASIK/PRK Criteria: Acceptable only if the candidate is over 20 years old, the surgery was performed at least 6 months prior to the medical board, and the pre-surgery refractive error was within permissible limits.
Dental Points: Evaluation of oral architecture requiring a minimum of 14 dental points out of 22, where points are awarded for matching, healthy, functioning teeth. Severe pyorrhea or multiple un-filled cavities can cause a temporary deferral.
Day 5: Anthropometrics, Systemic Review & Medical Board Conference
Height & Weight: Assessment against a strict, standardized age-and-height-proportionate matrix. A deviation of \pm10\% is generally permitted, but anything beyond triggers a Temporary Rejection for being overweight/underweight.
Cardiovascular Checks: Resting pulse rate and blood pressure stabilization.
Final Board: The Medical Board reviews all departmental inputs to deliver their verdict.
Qualified OTA. Have been trying to register through officers registration on Join Indian army portal since past 7 days and also mailed the problem on the given mail.. Got no response. Can't make progress in registration after making and confirming password.
Saw some redditors scores around 85 and they didn't cleared OTA, born sept 2002 probably mine second last and first attempt where i scored 87.41 getting rolled in the list. Been CSE aspirant, never studied for CDS English nor any coaching but has been a book worm for long so 6 days ka prep and pyq analysis and cse prep helped me score eng/gs::49.93/37.48 +- a balanced score though..
Any tips for upcoming SSB? cuz anyways it's gonna be hard with throat cut competition considering mine compromised marks~~ (Much seeked from Previous SSB attempters)
