Looking for a friend in Magdeburg

Hello

I’m 25F, currently doing my academics at OVGU in Magdeburg, and I’d love to make some new friends and meet interesting people around the city.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, reading books, exploring new places, going for walks, and having good conversations over coffee or food. I’m always open to trying something new, whether it’s checking out a café, visiting a new spot in Magdeburg, playing games, or just hanging out…

Since summer will be over soon, I don’t want to spend the colder months staying indoors all the time ^^ It would be nice to find some people to hang out with, plan spontaneous activities, explore the city, have movie or cooking nights, or simply grab a coffee and talk…

I’m pretty easygoing and open to meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. If you’re also looking to expand your social circle in Magdeburg, feel free to reach out! :)

Looking for Friends Who Think Good Conversations Beat Endless Texting

I have a theory: you can learn more about someone during a one-hour walk than through weeks of messaging…

I’m 25 M, and somewhere between work, routines, and everyday life, I realized I’d become very good at staying busy and not nearly as good at meeting new people.

Sooo I’m changing that…. :)

I’m not looking for anything complicated. I’d rather go for a walk, grab a coffee, talk about random topics, and see where the conversation takes us.
I’m curious about people. I enjoy unexpected conversations, different perspectives, and those moments when you completely lose track of time because a discussion becomes far more interesting than you expected…

I’m in Magdeburg, so if you’re anywhere in Saxony-Anhalt, feel free to reach out. I also spend a lot of time traveling, so distance doesn’t bother me much.

Best-case scenario?
We become good friends :)

Worst-case scenario?
We spend an afternoon outside instead of staring at our phones ;)

If you’re someone who enjoys long walks, random conversations, and meeting new people without overcomplicating things, I’d love to hear from you ^^

I Think a Walk Tells You More About a Person Than a Date Ever Could - 25 M

I’ve never really been into dating. Not because I was avoiding it. I just got comfortable with my own routine, and somehow that part of life always ended up on the back burner.

Now I’m 25, and I think I’d like to change that.
I’m not looking for a perfectly planned date or anything overly serious from the start..

I’d rather go for a walk, grab a coffee, talk about random things, and see whether the conversation flows..
maybe we’ll have nothing in common. Maybe we’ll end up talking for hours. That’s the interesting part.

If we get along, great. If we don’t, at least we spent some time doing something more interesting than scrolling through our phones :)

Note: This started as a Berlin post, but I spend enough time on trains that meeting someone outside Berlin doesn’t really seem like a big obstacle ^^

Looking for a GP or Lab for a Full Blood Checkup in Magdeburg (Public Insurance)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to get a comprehensive blood test done in Magdeburg..

I’m publicly insured and I’m hoping to find an English-speaking Hausarzt who is currently accepting new patients, or a lab where I can have all the tests done.

If you’ve had a good experience with an English speaking doctor or know of a clinic/lab that accepts public insurance, I’d really appreciate your recommendations..

Thank you in advance! :)

Buying SLS again?

So last week I did some DD on SLS and decided to buy a few shares. Unfortunately, I bought right around the ATH offering, so I was in the red for most of the week. By Friday, the price had finally recovered to my average, and I sold everything because I just didn’t have the conviction (or the balls) to hold through the uncertainty…
Over the weekend I dug much deeper into the company, read more, and now I actually feel a lot more confident in the long-term potential. I’m planning to buy back in tomorrow, but now I’m wondering if I’ve already missed the move.
I know this probably sounds like classic FOMO, but I genuinely feel like my conviction is based on better research this time rather than just chasing the price. Curious what everyone else thinks…am I too late, or is there still room to run?

Walks, Coffee & Good Vibes in Magdeburg

Hey everyone,

I’m an international researcher at OVGU University and currently living in Magdeburg. I’m looking to meet new people to hang out with, explore the city, grab coffee, go for walks, or just have a good time and good conversations.

My German is still a work in progress, so I mostly speak English for now 😄

If you’re interested in chilling, sightseeing, or doing something spontaneous sometime, feel free to message me!

Edit: we could also meet in Berlin :)
