I have an order coming from Japan to US, and while it was in the air to the US, the tracking showed this in the screenshot, so it seemingly cleared customs before getting here.

Now, my package was just recently “processed at the Los Angeles gateway”, and this message is gone on my tracking! The ETA did not change, but I’m concerned that the “release status” message was removed. Does that mean there’s a customs issue now?

I want to buy an expensive item, that is completely unopened inside the brown shipping box they received it in directly from the brand’s online store (or wherever they purchased it from).

The listing photo is of the shipping box that the seller received when they first bought the item directly from the brand, but they never even opened that. The other photos in the listing are stock photos of the item that should be in the courier shipping box.

If I purchase this and buy the Standard Plan, will I be covered if the item inside this shipping box is not the correct item in question? It is thousands of dollars and a limited-edition piece.

Here is an example picture of the listing photo of the shipping box. In the description, it states that it is the unopened original shipping box with the product inside.
