To all the NRIs here, I wanted some advice from people who have gone through a similar situation.
My family is back home in India, and I recently got engaged through an arranged setup. We are currently in the early stage of the relationship and also doing long distance for now.

I’m a single child, so staying connected with my parents is very important to me. Ideally, I would like to settle abroad if my parents are able to move comfortably in the future.

Otherwise, I’m also open to eventually moving back to India with my wife. I have already communicated this clearly with her, and she has been understanding and supportive.

I wanted to ask married NRIs or people in long-distance arranged marriages:

What things helped you strengthen the relationship in the beginning?

How did you balance your spouse and parents emotionally?

Any mistakes you made early on that you would avoid now?

What helped your partner feel secure and included?
If you were a single child, how did you handle future planning?

Hello, me and my friends are planning to visit camping site where we can hike and have fun. We are a group of 10 people. My friends in boston and LAX, i am situated in Toronto. Can you give me any suggestions I am newbie to USA. Also, travelling dates June 28 to July 4.

I want to apply for my parents super visa both have Candian tourist visa. What are the chances? I am going to apply for spousal pr aswell.

I don’t understand is it a problem with me or general with everyone pisces. I find so difficult to hold conversations and make friends. I am kinda boring person. I am born to single child. My birthday is on Feb 20. If you faced same issue it would be really great as it kinda feels lonely and i also have difficulty in trusting people aswell.
