What do you think about the upcoming Bulwark campaign and how difficult do you think it'll be?

We got a small snippet of it from YouTube HOTA team. We also got a new interview about Forge, Bulwark and future plans: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=39830&PID=1591218#focus

I'm a casual player, so I bet it'll eventually release around 2027-2028. I'm interested to see if there will be things like new map glacier objects and event systems, too.

Majority of this fandom cannot accept nuance.

I've been detached from this situation for quite a while now and I suddenly got a notif of episode 80. Now obviously that would complete cause armageddon, but we need to clarify a few things.

Skibidi community as a whole is difficult to maintain.

As you'd guess from YouTube comment sections, most of the people here are still children. This effectively means that approximiately 80% of the folks see this drama as either 'hype and aura zacdoor and ibio animations' or 'boom sad i hope skibdi back 😰' which would obviously lead to some dramas when combined with some people simply being unaware.

First of, the Strider case. Probably the most polarizing figure right now. This man signed a contract with INVIZ to earn for his family. Now 70% of the fandom is just positioning him as a traitor as if he deserves to be eaten alive by vultures. That honor should go over money and family problems. And even if you argue that he already got enough from his channel, consider the YouTube monetization problems. For instance, Maxedy got demonetized by YouTube AI system back in early 2026. Similar thing happened to other figures outside the fandom like Kurzgesagt. The creator can't always rely on the system that has holes in it. When opportunities are on the table, sometimes you need to accept it for your own good.

Obviously, this man is not fully innocent, I can agree with that - you can fairly argue that he hasn't behaved professionally and has had constant arguments with the Discord community regarding Boom, to the point where he started making untrue speculations and statements. We can acknowledge that his behavior wasn't professional while also understanding his problems.

Second of, the #BBB, INVIZ, and communication doomloop.

Obviously, when a fandom suddenly needs to create and develop a grassroots movement over such a huge and sudden controversy, miscommunication and chaos are all bound to happen. The doxxing of employees, while completely unacceptable, is sadly predictable these days.

Despite everyone being united, I could already tell back in December the letters and the attempts to communicate were not going to work. BBB members as a whole always came off to me as highly emotional. Ibio is self-explanatory, ZacDoor harshly worded his statements against Strider, Iron and Adam are just Batman vs Joker at this point, Musakhar and coolcat are also in a loop of proper communication and bashing INVIZ at the same time, all while INVIZ and DavidLB were making memes about the movement. Steak and Kreek have separated themselves, but not without accusations. All while keeping in mind that Boom has already stated that talking to INVIZ is like talking to a wall notoriously.

It honestly feels like one massive circlejerk, one day a YouTuber bashes on INVIZ, the second day they attempt to communicate, and same vice-versa, INVIZ walks in with corporate shoes, they get rejected by the community, they proceed to freeze and then make memes about us. Just tell me, how can you say 'both sides can establish proper communication' when one has aggressive YouTube members and the other never listens to criticism while also striking creators for publishing BBB related material? Keep in mind they trap creators in disadvantageous contracts. Now they're just pretending that none of it happened while 0 real issues are solved.

And also the whole 'bOoM iS nOt a gOd, sToP gLazIng HiM" Since when did anyone say he's one? People want to sympathize with someone who is pretty much in a black hole. Sure, the situation may feel martyr-like, but it's not just the author affected by the drama. Tens if not hundreds of creators were harmed by INVIZ's practices. People like Elite Cameraman, Dydder, Ibio and ZacDoor have already exposed what it's like in there. Pretending that fans are only 'glazing' Boom are either missing the full picture or purposefully pretending they're deaf so that they can act smart for some reason.

Sure, it's been a year since 79.2 dropped but after the 80 announcement people started giving me vibes of content addicts. That the author doesn't matter in Hollywood, so why should we care on YouTube, just be a consumer, be grateful cause Strider greatly understands this series. Arguing we should just let the tape move.

Let's make it clear, majority of money from 80 will not move to Strider's pockets, but INVIZ's. They are the ones putting merch ads in each episode that give them thousands and millions in revenue. $150m in total consumer spending, as shown in this article. Creators are only getting a small % compared to what the company itself is getting. People saying we should support 80 because of Strider are completely missing the point exactly because of this. INVIZ has the IP, they hired Strider, Strider is making the episode for THEM. People are saying 'support Strider' like they just forgot how this whole system works.

If people just accept this system for good, INVIZ will not change. They will never cater to the fandom. They will notice that people are coming back even despite the very flawed ecosystem, and will say, "See? Despite all the noise around us, the fandom is still active and they're finally acting like adults who understand how business works." And it will end there.

This is also why people should nicely tell new people about the ongoing drama. The current YouTube vibes are just 'iF yOu cLiCk StrIdeR vIdeO UrE a tRaItOr" but a normal comment should inform the users about boom, the creators, hashtags and INVIZ's actions. And this is exactly what helps, because if people just keep yelling at the other, they will close off and watch the video anyway while looking at the entire #BBB like they're in a state of psychosis or something.

In short, Strider is not a traitor, but he should watch how he speaks towards the community and accept reasonable criticism, proper communication is likely impossible unless something drastic happens, and you should not watch 80 directly on the INVIZ channel for reasons stated above.

I've used Gemini for 8 months. Here's what I think.

So I've never really used AI chatbots before aside from ChatGPT and I decided to test Google's AI since it was pretty popular and also easily accessible on my phone. I'll describe my experience while testing it for several months. For context, I used it for research on basic things like home accessories and also internet culture. Aside from this, I decided to use its "creative writing" feature to make some fun stories based on a few selected RPG games.

I didn't directly use Gemini AI to write this post. My feedback is based on my personal experience.

Pros:

  • Quick searching - Like most AIs, Gemini is generally good for quick research on one subject, whether it's on a random internet drama or a popular game. It can dig up an article that you can't find due to it previously getting buried in a matter of seconds.
  • Easily accessible Python code - After typing out a prompt, you can press or type 'show code' to quickly take a look at it. Some programmers may additionally use it for analysis and research purposes regarding the chatbot, which is important.
  • Long threads - Nowadays Gemini can generally sustain hundreds of prompts without it lagging much, which is beneficial for long stories.
  • Customizable, fun humor - Gemini got a new feature where you can pick answers A and B to know which path you would rather take during the conversation. You can directly change and customize certain parts to make a story more coherent and immersive.
  • Relatively high accuracy on info about biology and school subjects - While AI can obviously mess up sometimes, it is surprisingly accurate on information based around both basic and expanded school courses, however it still does fall behind in Maths compared to ChatGPT.

Cons:

  • AI looping and 'milking' - Sometimes Gemini can get obsessed with something you wrote mid-conversation, and it won't stop bringing it up even if you tell it to tune it down. Or, if you start the conversation with an unrelated topic, and then switch to something else, it will also loop that same previous point 10-20 times even if the first topic had only like 2-3 prompts in it.
  • AI hallucination and 'Creative Rewriting' - Now this is what actually annoyed me (and frankly made me laugh). A few days ago I was generally writing a random fan story regarding a more niche but still quite popular RPG game. In the thread, I briefly explained a game mechanic that affects the world negatively, and I asked Gemini how X character would react to getting Y negative effect. I kinda wanted the story to become humorous. But then the AI did something quite hilarious, and this is a textbook example of r/confidentlyincorrect. It wrote something along the words of "No, my fellow gamer, it is a very common myth! 😁 The negative effect you wrote about wouldn't affect this character! *proceeds to make up a random mechanic that doesn't exist but somehow negates the bad effect* Anyways, here's how this character reacts to the POSITIVE effect!" So the point is that it basically wrote nonsense that would make the game subreddit go "🤨?" and it rewrote my story based on what it hallucinated. And when I said "No, the negative mechanic is not negated at all, it still applies due to effect X", it didn't rewrite the fabricated story, instead it updated it with my correction, which frankly made it lose coherence almost completely.
  • Not good for long research - While researching on a complex topic, Gemini can sometimes ask you how you feel about X thing or what you think about something you wrote. Naturally, you provide your opinion and keep prompting further. But later you may notice that AI starts stating your opinions as facts. That, combined with the aforementioned 'AI looping' renders Gemini unreliable for complex, long research on more difficult topics.
  • Inherent 'people-pleasing' and the need to write specific prompts - The chatbot is generally programmed to be nice to you. And while it sounds like a good thing at first, it can transform into your personal echo chamber where it does not criticize you and becomes a 'yes-man' that agrees with even the most absurd ideas. So if you ever, for example as a programmer or analyst, decide to test Gemini regarding its ability to send back proper feedback or do anything else, it's best not to write 'Is this a good idea?' Instead, write 'Could you point out any possible drawbacks related to this idea?' and this gives you a bigger chance of receiving something that actually makes sense without the bot mindlessly praising idea X.
  • Spitting out code and different languages mid-conversation - Now this is a smaller issue, but sometimes Gemini could either start typing in Chinese or Russian language mid-conversation while simultaneously spitting out parts of its code like 'thought' 'creative writing' or anything symbol related like {, }, \, and /.
  • Frequent 'Something went wrong and an AI response wasn't generated' - Self-explanatory. Often happens when a thread becomes long, but sometimes it can happen instantly.
  • No button to disable 'AI overviews' and the need to use search filters or add-ons for that - When Gemini came out, people were frustrated over the fact that there wasn't - and still isn't - a single button that disables it. And back then it was a lot less developed, so the chances of it making dumb mistakes were higher. Now you either need to use '-ai' in every search, a cuss word, or a random extension that automatically disables this.
  • Random updates that can change how the AI works overall suddenly making things confusing - It was quite visible to me yesterday. I attempted to write another story and it started typing out something nonsensical in bullet points.

Verdict?

Usable for quick research, has nice humor and long storywriting with some flaws, requires cautious use, don't use AI for health/legal advice.

Overall, I'd recommend it if ever asked. The AI is updating and developing rapidly, so I'm not rating it in any way yet.

Do you like difficult/complicated puzzle maps, or do you prefer playing classic maps?

(puzzle map examples: fiery riches, blazing archipelago, ice assault, factory campaigns)
(classic map examples: crimson and clover, realm of chaos, vikings we shall go)

I usually prefer playing classic maps as I tend to play vanilla singleplayer/multiplayer allied scenarios. However the HOTA puzzle maps have cool designs and they have creative enemies, but they stretch out for months and can be pretty annoying with the constant save scumming. So far I've played stuff like Invasion and Ice Assault and I can say they reminded me of original AB campaigns like Dragon Slayer in terms of map guards and structures.

And what is your approach?

Is it just me or has the finale changed the overall perception of the show?

Personally, after seeing Pomni's near-crashout and the C&A room in the pilot I thought the show was going to be about the horror of digital existentialism and the slow process of acceptance. Characters are essentially trapped there with an unstable AI that consumed the blue one partially to gain power. I appreciated the Backrooms-style of episodes and I perceived both episodes 6 and 8 as peaks of the show. I was watching Caine's progressive anger build-up before the inevitable torture scene. At that time, I was honestly wondering how characters would react to them being digital brain scans, kind of like how Gumigoo sat in the underground area with Pomni.

But episode 9 felt like it crammed too many points into one episode. Kinger suddenly reveals the brain scan problem in front of everyone. There is a brief crashout with Jax throwing in 2 lines, where he later walks away and the cast attempts to rebuild the circus. Then that point gets brought up again, and this time everyone easily accepts it. It kinda bit me the same way with Caine - he essentially kept the cast trapped in his world and later brought up their worst traumas to them, and before he re-entered the circus, he'd be very worried about how the cast would perceive him after what he's done. But after Zooble briefly talks about how he's made their lives hell, they immediately accept him without any conflict, then their real lives get revealed, credits roll.

In general it feels like over the show these 2 points about C&A and Caine would be built up to something huge, only for these problems to be resolved in a matter of minutes.

I generally don't understand people who explain this with "It's a character-driven show" when the lore is literally a part of them. It honestly feels like people miss my point whenever I go to the main TADC subs, hence why I came here to talk about it. For me personally, this show wasn't that big, I spent time there only occassionally, but now it feels like there is one big civil war over a digital finale which isn't even that deep at the end of the day.

More leaks from NoCap.

When do you think part 5 will come out? I feel like both NoCap and Dydder Floutin will upload somewhere at the end of summer. After all, projects like these take time especially with IRL stuff all around.

The quality of both anticipated NoCap p4 and Dydder's p3 is antonishing though. Wonder what it'll look like in the end.

Given the division between Alexey and Adam during the entire controversy, do you think there will eventually be a settlement? As stubborn as everyone in this may be, I have a feeling this can't drag on forever.

(this is the message ibio posted today on his channel)

We all know this has been dragging on for 9 months already, but I think that eventually this year there will either be a solution behind closed doors or some kind of restructurization. Skibidi is still a large franchise and I find it hard to believe that such a large show with 40-episode potential would die in a matter of 1-2 years, as big as the drama is.

What do you think though? Are your opinions on this different?

u/Unusual-Influence653 — 1 month ago

Has Skibidi Toilet affected anything in your life?

So I've been there for nearly 3 years and after writing countless essays and edits on the Wiki I noticed that my English has improved a lot. Thanks to ST I discovered many other shows I write analyses on, so my English teacher asks me from time to time what series I'm interested in.

The fan community is something large and aside from getting tons of posters I learned a good bit of what the animation process looks like and how people pay attention to things like VFX and proper composition.

Skibidi has expanded my literacy skills a lot and frankly writing stuff online is a lot better than whatever foreign speech learning can give me at school. It's kinda like 90% online and 10% school. I like writing essays and sharing constructive criticism so in the future I'm planning to pursuit something close to that path and maybe also start doing pixel art Steam-style.

Has this show ever changed anything for you? Is it significant, or maybe just another weird hobby of yours? Curious to hear your thoughts.

u/Unusual-Influence653 — 1 month ago

What do you think about the current skibidi fan community? And do you think it'll hold up? If it doesn't, will someone new replace a spot or will it die eventually?

I've included current active creators. I know there are more, but these 6 come to my mind the most.

It seems like we are going to get NoCap's P5 and Dydder's P3, and after that things may change. The situation is wearing everyone down and I'm wondering what will happen to MonsterUP and Lamatern. Will they eventually copy the steps of the Big Six and make their own shows, keep going, or move on?

What do you think about 2026-2027 for the fan community?

In general, how fun is Ice Assault for you? Or is it tedious?

I personally decided to stop rushing and started overgrinding on month 8. I eventually farmed out 6k kobold stack with 350 archdevils before getting to Cassandra on month 20 (yes, I was grinding in multiple towns at once while still trying to kill a few stacked neutral legions on map). Archdevils and snow elves paired with cloning and force field are cool. The final boss was actually easier to beat than I thought, though the 70 azures are a bit of a pain.

My advice for anyone playing this - watch out for Inferno and Conflux. The first one has mass berserk with high stats and taking Conflux town activates Giselle who walks around with hundreds of dragons and effectively kills your spell power, forcing you to rely on non-destructive spells like cloning again. Also, you can build Castle and Stronghold safely the second you get them - I made a mistake of not doing this for a long period of time because i thought the heroes on the map weren't static.

There is a bunch of cool artifacts, and if you want to get sets like Titan's Thunder or Angelic Alliance, don't stall unless you want XP and have a good army. If you wait till month 6 for example there could be 700 titans or dragons guarding a single artifact.

Overall, in this scenario I got 2 Elixirs of Life, Pendant of Reflection, Admiral's hat, Wizard's Well, Cornucopia and Golden Goose. Note that aside from this and things mentioned above you can also get Statue of Legion and Graal for growth. Armor of Damned is useful if you want a mass debuff at the beginning of each battle for enemy.

Overall in my opinion this map is like one big puzzle with cool design. You either take it on month 7-9 or decide to overgrind for fun and extra exploration.

Do you agree with the take that characters like Gangle got sidelined in the finale?

In general I've seen many discussions in the fandom regarding the screentime for characters in the finale. There are arguments over people like Gangle, Ragatha and Zooble being pushed away in favor of Jax.

In my eyes? I personally think the episode doesn't suffer from the lack of the screentime; in my mind it's moreso about the structure of the film. You can divide it into 4 sections, those being:

  • the first 10 minutes about everyone trying to support each other,
  • the next 25 minutes about Jax, the flashbacks and his tent,
  • The following 10 minutes about Caine in the void, the brain scans and blue AI,
  • the last 10 minutes about final ammends with circus members and credit scenes.

I think the fans' actual problem is that the finale felt to them like a blueprint that is supposed to cram in the most important plot points in matter of minutes; I heard such critiques regarding Kinger's brain scan reveal and Caine's apology. With the latter, it felt to many that it was rushed and they'd rather prefer more build-up and conflict to this part of the plot.

I was kinda surprised when I saw people mostly talking about lack of Ragatha's development. She may not have had that much screen-time, but we learned quite a lot about her relationship with Pomni, Ribbit and Jax. The hug scene we got was also emotional and I think it's fitting since Pomni still cares about her.

If anything I felt like Gangle got the least recognition. I mean, there isn't too much from her aside from her crying for Jax and bonding with Caine. I get that Jax and Pomni are the main characters and they deserve the attention they received, but Gangle felt like a bit of a ghost in the last film. Not sure if this was intended or not, but she never really interested me in the latest episodes. Kinger wasn't bad but he was perceived as a plot device by many.

And what do you think? Did the rest of the cast get enough screentime and development, are you satisfied, or do you wish we got more of them? Or maybe your issues are more similar to mine that were pointed out above? Comment below!

What do you think the media exposure will give us and do you think INVIZ will attempt to at least partially settle/make ammends with the community and Alexey?

Many people have been reaching out to big names lately. LawByMike video has been released and it already has 700k views with nearly 100k likes, Steak has reacted to it and other Youtubers like ItsBlanko and Internet Anarchist are also planning to make videos on it. Penguinz0 has spoken with Boom and Steven will drop his one-hour long video at one point.

LBM's video is doing well compared to the rest and it makes me wonder what INVIZ will do as a response. They're getting millions from investments while the controversies keep dragging along. I think they will either try to drown this out and go for compromises, or attempt to ignore it once again, but at this point the situation is mainstream and INVIZ suddenly got active after LBM's announcement. What do you think?

u/Unusual-Influence653 — 2 months ago

On scale of 1 to 10, how much do you notice/appreciate quality changes?

The most differences I see throughout the show are Bubble, abstractions, stars, void, and the lighting on Zooble's head/Gangle's ribbons.

Overall, I'd say 8/10. I frequently pay attention to behind-the-scenes videos and VFX.

u/Unusual-Influence653 — 2 months ago

A press article involving Mark Shedletsky is here. I haven't seen anyone talking about it in detail.

It's a short read but it mentions the new president's top priorities. I find it concerning that right after the multi-million investment they're marking the show as "kids & family" I'm pretty sure that even if 80 or anything else sees the light of the day it'll be sanitized for less gore and more toys. "watch time" and "engagement" are something that Adam has previously mentioned in creator call 3 times. Essentially he's expanded his empire with more hands. I'm worried about the dozen creators they're in negotiations with. Right now they're trying to fill SEO with PR success. If the indie creators get lured in with high pay promises and multi-billion expansion, they'll step on a surprise right after entering the deal.

But I'm wondering how it'll ultimately go. We're a few days away from LBM's and potentially Steven's video. INVIZ has suddenly gotten active, posting 4 things and 2 major articles, it's likely they're trying to fill their reputation up before investigation release. With Alexey and all creators involved, it can go many ways. And what do you think is the most realistic one?

u/Unusual-Influence653 — 2 months ago

A few concerns regarding the movement.

I've been out for a while, but I feel like I need to address a few things about LBS in general in order for everything to be cleared up.

There are a few conflicts between some community members, like Taiwan Guy and EBG. The former made a document exposing the latter link of which is below. Since then EBG made a response addressing the claims as 'untrue'. However Taiwan says he hasn't provided any proof while denying the claims. I honestly think the situation about EBG controversies needs to be solved. He's considered one of LBS signatories, and I don't think anyone wants more heated discussions dragging along the way. I do not know if LBS founders like Iron Cameraman or ZacDoor know about this either. It appears rather niche. Nevertheless, it must be solved.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BeBlvYZms6dxso07yYRaNK67SCUDw4ANB08MUhmfjEI/edit?usp=drivesdk

Another thing I want to talk about is the sustainability of the movement. As we know the situation (since 79.3) is already dragging on for nearly 9 months. Some people have left. The mike video has amassed exactly 414K views since June 19th as I'm writing this post. Of course, people will certainly mobilize in the last day, but what I want to ask is where will we move forward, and does this community genuinely pounder how long cases like this one can take? This entire situation surrounding INVIZ may even take years to resolve. I've seen people complaining about the whole "8 months and series is nowhere near back" point, but truth is that community would have to stay resilient for quite a while. And if you hate this community or controversy around corporation, it's best to distance yourself instead of staying in toxic loop. If you wish to participate, prepare for ups and downs. Me personally? I will still be here, just less active than usual, and in my eyes Mike's offer is a light at the end of the tunnel and the community should really try to use just this one chance.

TL;DR: Address internal worries; prepare for a bunch of stalling
