Hydra or plant parts?

they’re in a 20 long planted tank with ember tetras, a betta, threestripe corys, and neos. they are restricted to just one cluster of java fern so Im thinking plant part. ember tetra and limpet pics as tax.

I just realized I have academic trauma

i just nearly had a panic attack, the first in a long time, while talking about going to college. I had been told before that trauma can come from anywhere but I didnt really believe it because people are always like “high school work isn’t as hard as you’re making it” or “you’re being a baby” but for me it was almost impossible, I barely passed even with several extra accommodations at a special needs school. Unlike many people with academic trauma I didn’t have a high workload, or deal with social rejection. But I did dramatically hype up how hard the work was in my own head, which lead to extreme anxiety and fear of the work. It makes me feel pathetic and while I am starting to feel better, I could still really use some kind words right now please🫠

Looking for a specific place where a can plop down my trusty lawn chair and just wait. Someplace not commonly walked through and with a good view would be ideal. I already know about that one spot with the Adirondacks, but I want more than just that.
