Debilitating light streaks

I've had VSS ever since I was born. I don't know what "normal" vision is, however, for the past 3 years I have been suffering from debilitating light streaks from every light source including lamps, screens, car lights you name it, every time I blink, this makes text distort and barely unable to read stuff on the screen while working.

I work in IT and thinking about quitting, it's that bad, every blink there are huge streaks reflecting and they sync to the blinks, if I stop the blink halfway, the streaks stay "frozen" meaning I can seem them for a minute or beyond if I kept them open like that, either way, working on screens with whatever that is, is not possible because text gets smudged out by the streaks everytime I blink, especially if it's white color or anything bright.

I didn't have this debilitating issue for 26 years. I woke up one day and there they were, torturing me day and night, the only way I've been able to alleviate the symptoms is by putting a piece of thin tape onto my upper eyelashes and of course I look like a moron doing that but it's the only way I can get any work done or drive at night, anyway, I have seen old posts about it here in the VS section but no one has seemed to figure it out so I'm once again asking if someone knows what this is, it's very concerning.

Eyes only red after sleep

Hi,

As I'm progressing in this battle against dry eyes. My eyes become red after sleep or nap. This is my last symptom remaining!! Can someone help me.

I do not have incomplete closure of lid(got it checked) by my specialist as well as I got someone to look at me while I sleep.

I have tried pretty much every gel and hylo night etc when going to sleep even by combining them with miebo afterwards to create a "seal" for a stronger effect, taping my eyes, eye seals, masks the whole list. I'm completely symptom free with white eyes during the day with my "up and about" regimen despite high screen time or not, it's just while sleeping that I have symptoms like eyes becoming red. I just can't solve this last thing, my eyes are completely comfortable during the day and healing, it's a shame.

Edit: I just read a post where a guy actually fixed this issue by using 4 different eye drops including a blinkjoy mask and setting a timer for 4 hours to go up and put them in again then go back to sleep, we're so cooked guys lol

is it normal for nothing to work 100%?

Max dose iptratropium 0.006 for 2 months, nose was still running, it was better, maybe 60% better but still stuffy and wet, added fluticasone and oxymetazoline and tried Dymista, salt water spray, 75% better, this is what we have in Sweden considered the max stack for non allergic rhinitis, my nose runs 24/7 all day everyday, 365 days a week, worse when eating, I do feel improvement like I said, 75% at most, is this what I should be expecting? Maybe people don't get more relief but yeah it's a miserable thing to have. I saw a post on here where someone had a nose running 24/7 just like, 365 days a year and "fixed it" with iptratropium 0.06% so I don't know if I got some terminator nose wreaking havoc or what lol.

How common is it for ocular rosacea in particular to go undiagnosed for several years? 3, 5, 7 years you name it? Everyone thought I had allergies or chronic blepharitis so I stopped going. I got fed up with it as I would get a short course of steroids for some brief relief so I kept relying on eye drops for years I just didn't see a point in going back to them but now after 7 years I ended up with treatment and I haven't had a single symptom. I can do digital art on the computer again. I'm shocked that my life was "robbed" from me for so long, can anyone relate? I mean the symptoms were also subtle to me, some tired eyes, a bit of watering in the wind, eyelid swelling off and on that I ended up on steroids for but other than that not much else from docs.
