My Courthouse Management Game: Justice Project

Hi everyone!

I've been working on a courthouse management game for a while now and think it might be of interest to some people here.

The game is called Justice Project. Some of the features I've currently implemented include building and furnishing, staff management, proceeding management and research based progression.

Here is the Steam page if anyone is interested: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4634840/Justice_Project/

I'm planning on releasing a public playtest towards the end of this month. If you're interested I'd recommend following the game on Steam so you see the post when its made there (I won't be posting here to follow the no self-promo spam rule).

AI Disclosure: Generative AI has not been used for the creation of any assets or marketing material. All code written specifically for this project has not been generated by AI or AI assisted, as this is the part I enjoy most and wouldn't want to outsource it to a robot. Having said that a couple helper functions from earlier projects which I continue to use were originally created using AI assistance.

Ever Wanted to Build and Manage a Courthouse? I'm building Justice Project a courthouse management game.

I've been developing Justice Project, a courthouse management game, for almost a year now (6 months with a clear direction).

The game currently has basic building mechanics, including room detection and classification, wall and floor painting, and multiple levels. As any good management game it also includes management (who would have thought?), currently staff and proceeding (trials and hearings) management, as well as a 'research' based progression system.

I'm interested in gauging interest in the game and what people think. I'm also planning on posting a Steam open play-test towards the end of July.

GenAI has NOT been used for development or promotion.

I'm making a courthouse management game. Here are some of my favorite screenshots so far

I've been solo developing this courthouse management game (Justice Project) for a while now. I'm finally starting to feel at least a little bit satisfied with how it looks and functions so far.

I'd love feedback on particularly the UI as it has been something I've been working on for the last few months (my original was the most uninspired SaaS looking UI I've ever seen in a game).

Steam Link for those curious (also has more screenshots and a slightly outdated gameplay trailer): https://store.steampowered.com/app/4634840
