Please stop this highbeam pandemic

Was stuck in stop and go traffic on the Noida Expressway today and this XUV 500 was on highbeam the whole time.

Believe me, I even switched my IRVM once thinking it was on day mode because of how bright this beam was. One of the only times I think having a BE6 with a message calling this guy out wouldn't hurt.

But someone really needs to do something about these 1000w aftermarket fitments being sold so proudly in Karol Bagh and shown on YouTube.

Bought the i20 Sportz MT

As the title says, I finally took delivery of my i20 Sportz 1.2 Manual.

Choose it over the Baleno (too common and even Zeta lacks many features) and the Altroz (have a Tiago at home and the same engine on a heavier car just won't cut it).

Haven't added any accessories except the 3D mats from the dealer.

Any suggestions / advices on which accessories (dash cam, steering cover, any garnishes) to prioritise?

Resigned due to bad manager but facing issues in np

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from people who have dealt with difficult managers and challenging notice periods.

I recently resigned from my role at a large manufacturing company (typical lala company) after accepting a new opportunity that aligns much better with my long-term career goals.

The primary reason for leaving was my relationship with my immediate manager. Since the day I joined, his management style has been aggressive, ego-driven, and unnecessarily confrontational. While I’ve always tried to stay professional and focus on my work, the environment became increasingly stressful over time.

Recently, a minor oversight on my part was used to question my overall work ethic and contribution, despite the fact that I have consistently delivered strong results and was promoted during my tenure. That incident confirmed for me that it was time to move on.

Thankfully, I’ve accepted a new offer that allows me to buy out my notice period.

The problem? My current company is refusing to let me leave early, even though I’m offering to pay in lieu of the remaining notice (clause as per my original offer letter).

I want to keep things professional and ensure I join my new role on time.

Q. Is there a legal or best-practice approach in situations like this?

Q. Any tips to ensure I don’t get blocked or delayed beyond reason?
