Ok I’m sold on the shower curtains (vs new glass doors)… Thank you for all the help and advice! My next question is…

What to do with the perfectly good glass doors? Is there a used market for this stuff? Like maybe FB marketplace? What would you charge for them? They’re in perfect condition with the hardware. One side is stationary and the other swings.

Is a shower curtain so bad?

My house is 6 years old. We recently found out that the tile in the master shower was not properly waterproofed and we are having to redo the tile and repair water damage.
We originally (from the builder) had clear frameless glass doors. With the water proofing etc, they will be slightly too wide now. As this was an unplanned expense, we are on a budget.

Is it unreasonable to do a nice shower curtain for now and worry about new doors later?

The pic is for attention. This is day one of the reno.

Second Right of Interment

My husband and I have decided we want to be cremated and buried together over his mother‘s grave. She (still kicking at 92) says she loves the idea. Her plot is in a small rural family cemetery. I asked the distant cousin who manages the cemetery and he only asks that we purchase a separate marker (still need to look into this part) as his mother will have one from the Navy AND that we get written permission from her.

Is there a form we can fill out and have her sign, or can an informal “I give him and her permission to have their cremated remains buried above me” be enough?

The distant cousin said he doesn’t need it notarized or anything. He seems very informal and that kind of makes sense since it’s a family cemetery and very rural.

I want to get the written permission taken care of ASAP, since she is 92. The marker and cremation preplan can happen on our own timeline (yes I know sooner is better than later). We plan to send a copy to the distant cousin to keep with cemetery records, put a copy with her preplan and a copy with our will

Anyone have a PDF form we can print and have her sign?
