My 7 year old suede 1000 ml boots. My son found my 10 year old chippies and since I never properly broke them in, they became my 7th grade son’s favorite pair. 2 things come to mind 1 that I am cooler than he says I am, and B they really are heritage boots

I rushed home from work because I saw that I had a special delivery. The Blond Sweet Espresso Roast arrived. Sweet and chocolaty though not quite as thick a mouthfeel as my 6bean blend. No bitterness just a truly pleasant Moka. And bonus…I was able to use the same grind size too. Cheers!

I wish this part of the day could last just a bit longer.

Needed a doppio from my brikka

I had to have a redux from that prosaic shot this morning. This time with the good stuff

Using Arabica beans so started off with 75°C water in the Brikka to make sure the beans spent less time cooking in the basket. This was successful with faster times from first extraction to loud hiss. Unfortunately…My moka was mid. Thin mouthfeel with nearly no schiuma. I was expecting that though. I would rate it a 5 out of 10 only because the coffee had some complexity. My wife loved her Arabica long black significantly more than her Robusta long black so still a win
