Hey everyone, I searched for this topic but didn't find one. I've played since the beginning but not actively for quite sometime. I re-downloaded and started playing again and see that they changed the gear stats. I'm trying to make sense of it all, so if anyone has a link to an explanation of things like where the weapon level is, any new upgrade enhancements that may seem grey in nature, how loot drops work now, etc, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm finding a large variety of weapons, but want to make sure I'm not gonna Salvage something good. I'm finding blue tier weapons that are better than Legendary, and I wanna make sure I understand why that is.

It suddenly happened when I loaded the game today. I've been mining this iron node and never had a problem, walked in my underground tunnel to the mine, start mining (didn't add lights or anything) and suddenly I'm getting like 10 FPS. Even when I walked away, back to my tunnel, the performance stayed the same. Similar type stuff that happens when you have several Forges and Cement Mixers running, and you turn and look that direction, getting a FPS drop/lag. I also get it on Blood Moon nights, even when enemies are not on screen.

So my question is this; is there a setting I can change to prevent the performance hit, not just the mine but the multiple enemies, crafting stations etc? PC specs below.

Just started the game, maybe an hour in, and I find a hog WEARING a ejtpack. XD AND HE DROPPED IT. So now I got a Jetpack before I even have Smart Plates.

I understand that the game has peaks in difficulty until you get to the next tier of weapons/armor. I've Googled everything to find a better method or loadout for fighting the Jotuns, Neophytes, Mystago guys. etc. I've upgraded everything I have, use 2 laser grenades, Deatomizer, it's like everything is a bullet sponge with super high HP and defense. Is this somerhing that needs to be patched, as far as lowering their HP, or do I just suck? lol

...you've really done an excellent job with this particular track. I hope I'm not sitting here complimenting AI, because when this theme starts in the game I find myself so immersed. I'm a huge music guy, I have written music from many different genres, so I know what it's like to make a song, hoping the listener is able to sit in the mood, environment and aura that you also experience when you;re writing it.

It's an experience of sadness but also hope interwoven in the theme. It really fits a situation of desperation, loneliness, loss, but then book ended with hope, perseverance and endurance.

In conclusion, (to the developers) whoever wrote this particular piece, do not lay them off or fire them. The kind of mind that writes this sort of music is what will set your game apart from all other games. That same mind will write more pieces that bring the immersion and experience to the player. People underestimate the importance of music to video games.

I can't seem to find any, even using a Google search. I already killed the large floating invisible thing, and my fishing is quite low. Anywhere else I can go get these?

Without spoilers, can someone give me a hint about how to find the portal in the Hydroplant? I don't recall ever finding an email or anything about it.
