Fibre

I was diagnosed with extensive diverticulosis. I have never had a flair but have mild discomfort in my lower left abdomen. My doctor told me to increase my fibre intake with the use of Metamucil. I found however, even though I drink heaps of water, that it binds me up and increases the discomfort. I have given it away and just use daily Movicol instead. This works way better for me. Has anyone else found that increasing fibre intake whilst not in a flare can have the same effect?

A380 PE bulkhead seat

Just wondering everyone’s thoughts on the lack of a footrest for bulkhead seats in premium economy on the A380. I realise that there is a lower leg cushion but was hoping that comfort is not affected without a footrest. I am considering 33A and it has loads of legroom but I would like to have foot support too

Too much sugar

Ok, so I slipped up yesterday and had a mini pig out!
Too much sugar…. Boy oh boy I had repercussions. Severe diarrhoea overnight. Learned my lesson the hard way.

Hi,

I have extensive diverticular disease. I don’t have massive symptoms but I do find that whenever I lie down that I feel a deep ache in my lower left abdomen which almost feels like it stretches around to my lower back. I never feel this when upright.
Is this common?
