Vaccine hesitancy

I’m a pediatric nurse. I am so angry about a note I just read in a toddler’s chart. The parents cited their reason for refusing to vaccinate that RFK has put out so much conflicting information about their safety and they’re going to wait until he has put out more definitive advice 😭
He is directly harming children.

PSA GLP-1

Just a PSA: liraglutide (generic for Victoza) is now $100 per month. It’s an older GLP-1, and it is taken daily, but I have had success! I’ve been on it for about 5 years. My insurance used to cover it but started refusing since the big craze. Since it has gone generic a couple years ago the price has gone down significantly. In my area, that price is only at CVS and you need Good Rx Gold FYI. But I wonder if you ask for the Good Rx price at checkout if maybe you don’t need an account. I’m just letting people know this is a good option if your insurance won’t cover wegovy or ozempic.

Betterment: is my money safe?

I saw an article about fintech companies like Betterment not being technically FDIC insured because of a loophole that caused many people to lose money from Yotta. I use Betterment for my emergency fund + have a Roth IRA. Trying to decide if I should liquidate my account(s) 🙁

Interview tips

I’m an experienced RN. I have only ever worked with 1 health system for my last 2 positions. I have been applying for jobs in a new city for a few months. There was a position I interviewed for a while ago, and the lady was so boring and uninterested. I am generally a very positive, outgoing person. In other interview scenarios it seems we pepper back and forth, it seems more like a conversation. The woman I interviewed with just asked questions, stared off into space, then said “thank you” and moved on when I answered the questions. I am under consideration for another role and she’s the interviewer again. Any tips to keep things light and maybe engage her a little better??
I consider myself a pretty good interviewer, I even did a mock interview in front of my entire class in nursing school 😆
