my 2022 Taos 🖤

Got my Taos with only 30,000 miles on it back in April and I’ve been loving it! Was driving a 2011 VWGolf beforehand. I’ve had to replace a defective battery and get a software update but luckily haven’t paid anything out of pocket and it’s been driving great. My warranty ends in October, would you guys recommend buying extended? This is my first car that isn’t a hand-me-down so just looking for suggestions and if it would be worth it to buy extended warranty.

Thought it was a spider at first but I’ve never seen this bug before! It was very tiny, is it harmless?

Working in the trades

Hi everyone! I wanted to post in the group because I’m interested in working in a trade (specifically electrical but open to any). I’m a transman but without my legal info changed so I can’t exactly be stealth. I was about to start an apprenticeship a few months back but the owner of the company mentioned some of his political stances and I knew it wouldn’t really be a safe situation for me which was super disappointing. Does anyone in the group work in the trades/looking for apprentices or can point me in the right direction of a good company that would be more accepting? I already have my apprentice license so I’m just looking for guidance with that next step, hope everyone has a great weekend 🖤

Need to pay electricity bill by today to keep power on ($100)

Hello everyone! I had an unexpected car repair this week and I had to use the money I needed to pay our electricity bill. My wife and I share one car so I had no choice but to get the repairs done immediately. If I can’t pay the bill by today they will cut our power tomorrow. I’ve been doing DoorDash on top of my normal job but I’m still about 100 short to be able to make the payment and I’m not sure what else to do. If anyone is able to help me get closer to the total I would be sososo grateful. I had reached out to a local church but they stopped replying to our email thread after asking for my energy provider.
Thank you for reading this! I have Venmo/cashapp

Music for caps

Hi capricorns! I wanted to create a discussion post about an album or song that you feel represents you as a cap or is the most meaningful to you. I’m curious to see if many of us have similar tastes and also to find new music! I listen to most genres and I personally go through “phases” where I listen to one genre or artist exclusively and then change it up. An album that means a lot to me is A Sky Without Stars by ELIZA (Eliza Doolittle). It’s very soulful and a little slow/laid back but her lyricism is amazing and I love the album top to bottom especially when I’m in my Capricorn feels lol. I also love her more recent album The Darkening Green for a more positive/funky vibe. Would love to see some in depth answers, tell me about your favorite album!!

Trans friendly work places

Hi everyone, I’m looking for any suggestions for local companies/businesses around Frisco/Plano/The Colony that are lgbt friendly but more specifically trans friendly as far as hiring goes. I’ve been looking for a second job but I’ve had to turn down some opportunities after looking into the companies because I did not feel safe (my legal name/gender haven’t been changed).
I have a ton of kitchen/management experience but I’m also interested in learning a trade! I was about to start an apprenticeship for electrical but the owner made his political views clear and I couldn’t go through with it. I’m open to any/all types of work and just hope to connect with some like-minded people in the area. It’s lonely here as a transman especially being a bit further from Dallas and Fw. Advice is welcome please be kind 🖤 open to making friends in the area as well :)
