I have a bunch of oils that my family stored in the worst of conditions for a long time (in an outdoor shed that's not completely sun-proof). I would feel bad about throwing them out, especially that some were very expensive. Would it be okay to use these oils to make soap? I wouldn't sell them because I realize they would be very bad quality and will develop DOS, but otherwise, is it dangerous to use old oils? I am considering making dishwashing soaps if I can't use them on skin.

I am a recent food science graduate and was planning on applying to Erasmus this past year but all the programs I looked into had either been phased out or were not included in the scholarship for that year. I heard that EMJM continuously adds new programs and renews funding. I really want to pursue my masters on an EMJM program as they're all unique and many fit my interests, but it would be financially very difficult without a scholarship. Does anyone know if the programs are indeed added to each year. When should I check for that?

I graduated this year with a BS in food science and management from a top university in the middle east. I am looking for a job. The plan is to get a job and save up money which I will later use to go do a masters degree in food technology somewhere in Europe.

Other than Quality Assurance and Product Development, what can one do? where should I be looking for jobs?

I have mostly applied to product development and R&D since I am more interested in that. I am willing to relocate anywhere in the world for a good job but the market seems bleak and I have already gotten dozens of rejections, even for internships, although I fulfil all requirements most of the time. I imagine it is because I am applying internationally often and they would need to support my visa/s. I did my internships in quality assurance and I found it boring and repetitive. I don't think I would enjoy a long-term career in QA.

The concept of developing new products sounds really interesting and I have done some academic work in that field more or less, but no professional experience. Would aiming for QA jobs, since there's more of them and they seem to be less competitive, be a bad idea if I want to work in a more innovation-based field later on?

Any advice or insights to a new graduate would be highly appreciated.

Hello! I recently heard about the Young Professionals Program and I am really interested in applying. I haven't been able to find the application portal on the official jobs website. Has the application already closed for this year? It says it opens June/July usually but I can't seem to find it at all.

I followed their video guides but once I search for YPP on Inspira, nothing shows up. Is that because the application has not opened yet for this year?

I am a fresh Food Science graduate with a lot of volunteering activities and leadership involvement. Would ideally want to work for FAO or the WFP. Any advice? Would you recommend I apply to jobs directly not through YPP? Helpppp
