Show someone Baki Dou as an introduction to Baki?

I’m showing a few of my friends Baki for the first time and they aren’t interested in anime in general, but I think they’ll appreciate the funny ridiculousness of it which is the main reason I like it. The Netflix series Baki is full of ridiculousness but the pacing is way too fast imo and it’s just fight fight fight with not enough story to balance it out, whereas in my opinion Baki Dou has a good mix of story and ridiculousness. I haven’t seen the OG Baki the grappler so I haven’t considered it but if you guys think it’s worth considering it let me know.

Learn 5 externals in like 3 months?

I’m terrible at focusing on work in class but I’m ok at teaching myself things alone, and I was wondering if it would be feasible to teach myself differentiation, integration, mechanics, electricity and one of the chem exams (haven’t decided yet) before the externals. Obviously I have some knowledge of all these topics but it’s very very basic.

Were Mike Tyson’s genetics just that good?

There are boxers who were groomed from a very early age to be professional fighters, received good nutrition, enough rest, good training and they do in fact go far. Mike Tyson on the other hand was raised in poverty so I assume he didn’t receive very good nutrition, used hard drugs at an early age, and generally didn’t have good living conditions as a kid. When he got to his teens and was taken by his trainer I assume his living conditions improved dramatically but I can’t help but wonder how much damage he did to his development during his early childhood, which is a key developmental period in one’s life and despite the probable developmental issues he was still known as one of the hardest hitters.

What’s the most disgusting grotesque “human” panel in the manga?

Half the characters in Baki are so deformed I’m surprised the artists can consider them “human” and I’m wondering what the best example of this is?

Nicotine+Caffeine comparable to ADHD meds?

Would you say that hypothetically mixing these two substances would provide a comparable experience to adhd meds because I’ve been reading about what exactly the meds do and they seem really similar to the effects of say nicotine or caffeine in the sense of increased concentration, heart rate, etc.
