Got too drunk and was rude to my sister (again) panicking about what my friends think

I got too drunk last night and was really rude to my sister in front of my friends. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I know my limit but I keep drinking past it, and this time I ended up saying things to her that I deeply regret. She’s genuinely one of the kindest people I know and I feel terrible.

I’m mostly panicking about two things:

1.	How to properly apologize to my sister and rebuild trust with her

2.	Whether my friends now see me as “that person who can’t handle their drink” and won’t want to hang out/drink with me again

I know I need to figure out why I keep going past my limit even when I plan not to, it’s happened enough times that I don’t think it’s a one-off. Has anyone dealt with something similar, either as the person who did this or as the friend/sibling on the receiving end? How did it play out, and what actually helped?

Accidentally added my ex to a group call while drunk and now I’m spiralling

I’m having really bad anxiety right now and I need outside opinions because I can’t tell if I’m being irrational.

Last night I went out drinking, but everything was actually fine. I was having a good time, I was getting home safely by cab, and I felt completely okay. I wasn’t thinking about my ex at all (we haven’t spoken in years and I genuinely have no feelings there).

Then randomly I noticed a group chat/call on my phone that included my ex, some friends, and my brother. Somehow I had accidentally added him to the group and called everyone. He didn’t pick up, but I immediately panicked and blocked him.

Now I’m spiralling because I’m scared he might think I intentionally added him or called because I wanted attention, wanted to talk, or wanted to show him I have people in my life. That is genuinely the opposite of how I feel - I don’t think about him and I don’t want anything to do with him.

I also feel embarrassed and worried my friends might think I can’t handle alcohol, even though I feel like this could have happened sober too because it was just an accident.

I know logically it sounds small, but my anxiety is making it feel huge. If you were my ex and randomly got added to a group call that you didn’t answer, what would you actually think?
