Parking prices are out of control. Are people parking at Cumberland?

I want to take my son to the game tomorrow for his first time. Budget is tight. I’m looking at these $30+ parking lots which is completely insane and not based in reality to put your car somewhere for a couple hours. The tickets I got were cheaper than that. Despite Cumberland mall parking rules stating no non-mall parking, are people doing this? It’s a Sunday game and mall doesn’t open until 12 so I’d be getting there right about then.

Any other suggestions for cheap parking and walking? Maybe park and grab a cheap uber?

Are QOL improvements in R14 worth it for someone with an ultrawide monitor?

Even before I got an ultrawide, I spent 15 or so years decoupling the mixer, rack, and sequencer into their own full screens and put each on a different desktop- 3finger swiping in a MacBook trackpad to switch to the full screen device I needed. Now, I put all three in the screen, taking up 100% of my 35” curved monitor’s real estate. I don’t use F keys or shortcuts to bring up various windows - never understood how people were juggling all 3 devices on a single small screen.

I’ve seen a few YouTube reviews of R14 which places emphasis on helping people navigate the 3 devices, putting inserts and fader on the sequencer when selecting a track, and popping out the rack to view just a single track’s signal chain. These don’t look like they’d apply or be needed to me.

Other than note chase, not needing to switch to eraser to delete piano roll notes, the cool reverb, and the dark mixer color, it seems like a version I could skip over. Am I missing something, or are the main changes going to appeal more to those using a laptop screen or using F keys to get to the devices?

What are the consequences of deleting iCloud and starting over?

I have a sync issue with my devices that isn’t going away - maps and Health are showing the errors. Clicking “resume sync” makes settings window freeze. I’ve gone through all the steps to fix this. Apple tech over phone was not able to figure it out and I went by an Apple Store and told me I’d likely need to update to ios26 and os26 which has improvements to end-to-end encryption/iCloud issues.

I don’t want Tahoe unless my life depends on it.

What would the consequences be if I started over with a new iCloud? What do I need to keep in mind? I already keep backups locally. Would I still have access to all the apps I’ve bought? I don’t mind saving files and moving them back over, I just wanted to check and see how much a pain in the ass it would be by keeping Sequoia/ios18 and if there’s anything I’m not thinking of or need to consider. Thanks-

EDIT: I solved it. I had an old 2017 Air running Monterey that had keychain checked in iCloud. That was causing a hangup for my newer devices to not be able to sync properly. I won’t need to delete iCloud. Leaving this up in case it helps someone in the future.

I got a cheap $40 Neutrik TRS patchbay off eBay to learn on and learned after (was not in description) that it is pass-through only with removeable cards. This is NOT the SPP-L1 model with the screws on the front face (as you can see in pic) where you can flip the cards. I honestly can’t find any info on this unit but these cards seem to be pass through only.

Regardless, can I get replacement cards like the SPP-L1 has so I can get a few half normal cards? These are new to me so please excuse any ignorance. I’ve been getting assistance from ChatGPT up to now. I don’t mind the setup now but I’d really like to tap into my main monitor path without having ti do so much routing.

I’ve been a Reason user since 2.5 and it is my primary DAW that I compose, mix, etc. in. My outboard setup has grown to where it’s a big part of my workflow, but I find it time consuming and limiting with all the routing in/out that I want to do.

My setup:
8x8 interface with two 8x8 adat expansion interfaces feeding an analog summer. These are all word clocked with an analog preamp/compressor strip, and use a VCA compressor. These are set up in a patchbay along with a Digitakt2, outboard reverb, some synths, etc.

I’ve started using Reaper because of the easy “drop down boxes” for in/out vs thinking about setting up busses e-wired to the Reason hardware I/O. Reaper is not inspiring or fun to work in, though so I don’t want it to replace how I work ‘in the box.’

I thought I’d post and see how other hybrid workflows may work for you guys within Reason.

Wasn’t sure where to post this- I got this patch bay for $40 and is my first. It looks like the SPP-L1 but there is no wiring diagram drawing on the top- only black painted metal. I also have no switches, and there are no screws on the front plate that all the searches show and YouTube videos discuss to take off to adjust.

Is this a much older model! Would it likely be half-normal?
