Greener Nights being retired.

Real shame as I used GN a lot and have made around £60 from it making my car charging even cheaper.

Totally understand that solar makes a difference but can’t see how that will be the same over winter. Surely windy nights is still the king in regards to electricity supply.

Breakdown - High Voltage Battery issue

Went to drive the car yesterday and was met with a series of error codes from drive system, ACC, 12v battery etc.

AA came to diagnose and gave the following report after not being able to help:

Patrol found the following fault code/s: System : Electric drive - 5UB / Electric drive control Electric-drive control EV ECU 5.0 U041500 - Communication with the system <Electronic stability program>. Error Message : Signal improbable. U041300 - Hybrid battery management control unit. Error Message : Signal improbable. P060C00 - Control unit: Malfunction. Error Message : Processor fault. U303500 - Reliable on-board communication (SecOC). Error Message : Signature verification failed. HV contactor stuck requires dealer attention, tried 12v reset and battery reset no luck, truck required when booked in Coolant Level Ok. -

Car is a lease and the lease company are going to sort, but does anyone have any idea of what the above might mean / consequences might be?

TIA

Struggling to pair via Ohme

Recently signed up to a renewed Intelligent Go Tariff and when I’ve gone to pair the charger to the octopus app it’s a different onboarding process.

I’ve had to put my mileage and VIN into octopus instead of connecting to the charger direct.

I can’t see any option via Octopus to connect to the charger direct, it seems to want to connect to the car.

Also the schedules are different on Ohme compared to Octopus. Ohme is charging at 1.44 or 4.2kw instead of always charging at the 7.2 rate I used to get.

Can anyone help shed any light on this?

I’ve read all of the support articles and can’t seem to get to the correct conclusion.

Had the car alarm go off (for an unknown reason) and I was surprised I didn’t get an app notification.

Assuming that you don’t get one if the alarm goes off and all the systems are normal?
