I’m a bit confused by this offer popping up in my iMobile Pay app and could use some advice from the experts here.

Just a few weeks ago, I got my very first card from ICICI—the HPCL Coral Visa variant (with a ₹50,000 limit).

Today when I logged into the app, I saw a pre-approved banner for an "Instant RuPay Credit Card". However, the card shown on the screen is the regular ICICI Bank Coral (RuPay), not the HPCL version. The app states it's completely Lifetime Free (LTF) with ₹0 Joining Fee and ₹0 Annual Fee.

Since I am relatively new to the ICICI ecosystem, I have a few questions before clicking generate:

Is the limit shared? Will this regular Coral card share the same ₹50k limit as my HPCL Visa card, or do they give a separate limit?

Why a different variant? Why are they offering the core gemstone Coral card instead of an HPCL Coral RuPay variant? Is this normal for ICICI?

Is it worth taking? My main goal right now is to build my CIBIL score and trigger a credit limit enhancement down the line. Will taking this virtual card count as a new application / trigger a hard CIBIL inquiry?

UPI Payments: How smooth is the UPI payment system with the virtual ICICI Coral RuPay card on Google Pay/PhonePe? Does it actually earn any rewards on small daily merchant scans?

Would appreciate any insights on whether I should take this or just ignore it. Thanks in advance!
