Hello redditors, i am genuinely interested in starting my own foodstuff trading in riyadh, i wanted to know what are the challenges. I think some of them are 90 days trade credit, i would also love to know how do people mitigate these challenges.

أنا جديد في عالم تجارة المواد الغذائية (المواد الغذائية) في السعودية، وحاب أبدأ نشاطي في جدة والرياض. المشكلة إن كل الموردين والموزعين الكبار يقولون لي إن نظام الائتمان 30 و60 و90 يوم هو المعتاد في السوق، والمشتري (محلات البقالة، المطاعم، الفنادق) يتوقع ياخذ البضاعة ويدفع بعد 3 شهور.

أنا مبتدئ ورأس مالي محدود. كيف أقدر أثق إن العميل بيدفع لي بعد 90 يوم؟ في حال تأخر أو ما دفع، بتعطل وأنا صغير. هل فيه حلول زي:

· تحصيل جزء مقدم؟
· التأمين على الائتمان؟
· التعامل فقط مع جهات معروفة؟ (لكن كيف أعرفهم كبداية)
· بدائل مثل البيع النقدي في البداية؟

هل كل المنافسين ملتزمون بهذا النظام؟ وكيف أحمي نفسي قبل ما أخسر فلوسي؟

I wanted to ask if there is any trade credit facilities provided by banks to a borrower for business purposes like if a buyer purchases from me he asks for 90 days credit and since i am new in the market i dont trust people weather they ll repay me back or not. And also how easy is it to get trade credit facilities for my buyer. I would really appreciate to know from people who trade in foodstuff commodities like rice, fruits and vegetables, cereals, meat. How to safeguard payments
