Honestly, I'm enjoying it far more than NG4 and I expected to be the other way around being a massive Hack&slash fan.
But I have way too many little nitpicks with NG4.
Though, I know they're different kind of games.
Blonde lady in blue suit (ok, Samus wears the Varia suit here) with the best genetic cocktail and assymetrical arm full of power faces giant monsters in a metroidvania.
Rose and Samus should be friends.

First boss in the franchise and a tough one.
While he's just a giant magma tarantula/scorpion it's a pretty cool design, with a confusing name that only makes him cooler.
He has the classic brute bully personality so common among demons but he has the actual strenght to support his reputation:
This guy is Mundus' general, or that's what I recall to read as a kid. And I always found that kinda funny, but also follows a similar pattern to Ridley from Metroid; an animalistic beast that happens to be smart enough to command others and enjoys the carnage and toying with his victims.
I guess there wasn't anyone better to replace Sparda. But still, he fought a 28 years old Dante twice, and chase him several times. Even Trish was surprised when Dante defeated him. So, Phantom is a total beast from Hell to be aware of.
In line with that, his "nightmare" version from Visions of V probed to be too wild to be controlled.
Plus points for badass terrifying voice filter, and different from others like Griffon, Mundus, Cerberus, Beowulf, Berial or Goliath, who reused almost the same voice.
What do you think about him?

I'm going almost blind in this franchise.
Since I'm a Power Rangers fan and I like the japanese masked superhero who does epic poses trope (Gohan's Saiyaman, The Skull Man, Tuxedo Mask...) I've always wanted to try Kamen Rider. But it's a huge franchise. So, with a bit of help of a relative of mine now I feel ready. Also, I believe I resonate better with the older vibe, like Black.
Oh, and, as someone who loves Metal Gear Rising, Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry franchises... some similar KR?
