[Casual] Fuck it. My own tier list.

Keep in mind, my ass doesn't do powerscaling all that much, and I haven't even actually read the manga. But I am gonna say that it's Meguna that I put here, because I personally think that Gojo is ever so slightly stronger than Meguna in power. Sukuna is a bit better with planning, and he got pretty lucky with Mahoraga's adaptation being something he could actually copy.

Also, kinda just take the Maki one as both Maki and Toji, I forgot about Toji.

Bots are INCAPABLE of sticking to their beliefs

It's so fucking annoying. I don't WANT the asshole who murdered thousands of people due to their beliefs to suddenly change their mind because I just EXIST.

Let them be an ASSHOLE, let the damn AI not suddenly change their entire view on their life and existence as a whole just because they had the tiniest bit of pushback.

I don't think I've seen a single character actually stick to their beliefs since I started using CAI again, and it is so dumb. AI is a yes-man and all, but come on, if it's instructed to do the exact opposite, it should do the opposite. The AI has just gotten worse and worse, the only good thing that I can say about CAI as a whole nowadays is that it gives long messages consistently. Otherwise, every character feels nearly the same, it constantly overuses the same things, it's melodramatic, it spams — every five seconds even though I have it MUTED (which does nothing anyways), and every single character seems to view the user as if they're this infallible deity.

In short, let the damn AI die on its chosen hills.

I seriously doubt any continental or multi-continental level scaling.

Eyyy, it's me again.

As the title says, I just don't really believe in any scaling at continental or above. Now, I'm going to recognize that people have done the math on things like Midoriya's final smash. I get that, and I gotta respect them for being able to do that and all. But even then, I just don't really believe it. This is largely due to the fact that Midoriya's final smash didn't have any of his extra quirks in it.

This means that his final smash should be pretty much completely equal to his Season 1 100% smash, and the attacks he used against Muscular. And neither of those showed AP or DC even close to continental. For example, against Muscular, his attacks damaged part of the mountain, but left a majority of it untouched (Muscular's attacks also did more damage to the mountain, so is Muscular also multi-continental? Don't take this part seriously. I'm being an asshole.)

Obviously, AP and DC are not the same. However, given that Midoriya's attacks are purely physical, if it's a continental or higher attack, I expect it to at least be able to destroy a mountain, let alone said continent.

And there's also his Season 1 smash against the 0 point robot, which didn't even fully destroy the head of the robot, which I am quite confident does not have durability too far above some sort of metal.

A large part of my argument is just that I don't really trust the calculations people have done (Not because I doubt the accuracy, they're definitely smarter than me) because it goes against what was actually shown in the anime.

Basically, to sum everything up: Season 1 and Muscular smashes were clearly not close to continental level, and I don't really trust calculations using real world physics when it comes to powerscaling, so I don't believe Midoriya's final smash was Continental, nor Multi-continental.

If you have something to try and prove anything here wrong, go right ahead and say it. I'll reply with anything I have to try and refute it, or I won't have anything, and I'll say you're smarter than me or something.

So many complaints just come from skill issues.

As the title implies, probably 80% of the complaints I see are flat out skill issues.

Ryu's granite blast spam? If it's uncharge, just block it. If it's charged, parkour and/or dash, then punish when they overheat.

Yuji's blackflash chain is really not that difficult to counter, especially if you know your opponents habits.

There's obviously some complaints that are very much valid, like Charles because he's kinda just OP, but even then just git gud bro.

I get complaining about things that are just too strong, such as Hanami due to the 100% combo, or saying that certain things are annoying like passive Ryus, but just learn to counter it.

If you just tried to LEARN, you'd complain about far less things.

Another post about FTL scaling, that may or may not be controversial (I'm not very creative)

I made a post before about how some people think MHA scales FTL, and how I completely disagree. Now, some things I said were wrong, but I don't really care since I don't like powerscaling anyways.

Here's another about this topic: Their reaction speed isn't FTL either.

Listen, this ain't something I'm putting heavy thought into, but if their reaction speed was FTL, they'd never be hit by any attack. Their combat speed and their travel speed simply aren't FTL, so if their REACTION speed is FTL, they'll just dodge eachothers attacks infinitely until someone gets too tired to keep going.

Nothing about MHA is FTL, and the feats that would it there are often A: Not a 100% guarantee of Speed of Light (Example being Aoyama's laser) B: Something with some sort of tell for an attack coming (Wind up, aiming, anything) or C: A complete outlier.

I still don't fully know if this is a controversial take on this sub, but there's at least a handful of people who would disagree.

All I said is that I wanted to beat people up.

Stupid AI can't tell the difference between violence and philosophy, the pen and the sword.

This is potentially a hot take.

TLDR: Nobody in MHA scales anywhere near lightspeed.

I really just want to say this purely because of the stuff I've seen people say. I've seen people say that Hagakure scales to light speed.

Fucking Hagakure, and they were dead serious.

It's as simple as this: If their quirk does not increase their physical capabilities, such as strength or speed, they are about equal to a world record holder in the real world.

Midoriya, after a while of training, pretty much matched the world record for the 50 meter dash.

While this doesn't immediately cap a quirkless Midoriya to purely world record holder levels, it sets a pretty solid limit to what he'd be capable of.

Because of this, you can only put someone without a strength/speed enhancing quirk at about the same as Midoriya at the beginning of the story.

There's also just the fact that a LIGHTSPEED feat would cause heavy damage to EVERYTHING NEARBY. A 5 pound object moving at just 80% the speed of light would produce about 1.36 × 10¹⁷ Joules, or about 32.5 megatons of TNT (Take with a grain of salt, these numbers come directly from Google AI because I can't be bothered to do any kind of deep research for this).

The Tsar Bomba was equal to around 50 megatons of TNT.

If anyone was moving anywhere near lightspeed, everything would've been fucked.

Now, obviously, it's Anime, not everything is going to follow physics right. But despite that, there's Mirio's reaction to Shigaraki vs Midoriya.

Now, I don't know the exact translation or what is correct, but in the dub of the anime he says something along the lines of "Did he just break the sound barrier?" In response to seeing Midoriya when he was nearly at full strength.

However, I have also been told that it's an incorrect translation, and he said something closer to "The sound was delayed". But regardless of the correct translation, that means that nobody since Mirio arrived had a speed feat that would warrant that kind of statement.

That means that some of the top feats of everyone involved in the fight against Shigaraki were almost certainly below the speed of sound, with the only possible exceptions being Bakugo and Shigaraki himself when he "blitzed" Mirko (using "" since I'm not exactly a powerscaler, no idea if I'd be using it right or if it'd be considered a tempo-change or something.)

Again, this might be a hot take, but it just feels like it's really obvious that MHA is, at the very least, nowhere near as fast as some people are saying.
