I'm looking to buy a new ergonomic chair and am stuck between the Godrej Greta 2.0 and the Featherlite Amaze. My height is 173 cm (5'8").

Quick question first: The Flipkart listing just says "Godrej Greta," but the images/videos show the 3D swivel arms. Can anyone confirm if Flipkart is shipping the Greta 2.0?

If budget isn't a strict constraint, how would you rank them overall?

  1. Top Pick (Money no object): Which one takes the crown for comfort, lumbar support, and build quality?
  2. Best Value Pick: Is one significantly better value if considering the "budget version" of a solid work-from-home setup?

Well-being Subsidy Query: Is the Corporate Amex mandatory, or can I use a personal credit card?

I’m planning to utilize my ₹25k well-being subsidy soon to get a new mattress and an office chair.

I wanted to check what the current payment rule is for this. Is it absolutely mandatory to make the purchase using the Deloitte corporate Amex card? Or can I just use my personal credit card for the payment and claim the reimbursement later through the manual expense portal?

If personal cards are allowed, are there any extra documents I need to provide when submitting the claim, apart from the standard GST invoice billed to my name?

Would really appreciate any insights from folks who have claimed this recently. Thanks in advance!

Newly married health insurance strategy: Separate policy now vs. waiting for renewal after HDFC rejection?

Context: My wife (29F) and I are recently married. We both work and are fully covered under our respective corporate health insurance policies, which also cross-cover each other.

Apart from corporate insurance, I hold a personal base health insurance policy with HDFC Ergo (Optima Secure).

The Issue: Post-marriage, I requested HDFC Ergo to add my wife to my existing policy. After 2 months of frustrating back-and-forth, they ultimately denied the endorsement (likely due to strict underwriting or a specific declaration).

The Dilemma: Since we already have corporate coverage as a safety net, I’m trying to figure out the best move for her personal coverage. She turns 30 next year.

  • Option A: Wait it out. Wait until my next renewal cycle next year, and try to convert my individual policy into a family floater again (or see if underwriting guidelines change).
  • Option B: Buy her a separate individual policy now. Get her a policy from a different insurer (or even HDFC) immediately so her waiting period/cooldown for pre-existing diseases (PED) starts ticking down right away. We can look into merging or porting them later.

My Questions for the Community:

  1. Is it worth buying a standalone policy for her right now just to get the waiting periods out of the way, or is waiting a year safe given our corporate buffers?
  2. Does age 30 drastically impact premium brackets or underwriting strictness for women's health insurance in India?
  3. Has anyone dealt with HDFC Ergo rejecting a spouse addition? Did you have better luck at renewal time, or should I just look at competitors

Got NACH Charges from ICICI Due to Funds Blocked in ASBA IPO Application

I've been using ICICI Bank's NACH setup for SIPs for the last 5 years without any major issues. Recently, due to funds being unavailable at the time of debit, one of my SIP transactions bounced and I was charged around ₹590.

This has made me wonder whether it makes sense to continue with ICICI or switch to a bank that has lower bounce charges. I'm also looking for better ways to set up SIP autopay mandates so that a single missed debit doesn't result in such high charges.

Would love to hear how others manage SIPs across multiple mandates and banks, and whether there are better alternatives available.

Looking to buy a office chair for WFH, initially was planning to get something under 5 to 10k but then saw they are not that good, hence bumping the budget.. is it worth it or are there any better deals out there?

Portfolio Review: Age 28 | Combined SIP ₹97.3k | Goal: 15-Year+ Wealth Creation

https://preview.redd.it/hgud4tm0130h1.png?width=1824&format=png&auto=webp&s=f72b7d8f039e57d9471cf48a0cb00906d57f6d24

Hi everyone,

I am a 28-year-old, and my partner and I manage our finances as a combined household portfolio to maximize growth and tax efficiency.

Mandatory Information:

  • Risk Appetite: Aggressive (Long-term horizon).
  • Investment Goal: Wealth creation and building a corpus for long-term financial independence.
  • Investment Horizon: 10–15 years.
  • Allocation Details: Monthly SIP of ₹97,300. (Breakdown in attached image).
  • Which App Do You Use? Kuvera and Zerodha for my accounts; Angel One for my partner's.

Safety Net & Insurance:

  • Emergency Fund: ₹5 Lakhs parked in Fixed Deposits.
  • Health Insurance: Both of us have corporate health insurance. I have an additional personal health plan.
  • Term Insurance: I have an active term insurance policy. We are currently planning to get personal health and term insurance for my partner.

Why We Selected These Funds:

  • Parag Parikh Flexi Cap: Our core holding (₹23.5k combined SIP) for its consistent downside protection and value-driven approach.
  • Kotak & Axis (Mid/Small/Large): Selected to drive alpha. We recently bumped the Axis Large & Midcap to ₹15k and started a ₹15k SIP in Kotak Midcap for more aggressive growth.
  • Tata Arbitrage & Mirae Equity Savings: Used specifically as a tax-efficient alternative to FDs for short-to-medium-term liquidity.

Specific Questions for the Community:

  1. Insurance Strategy: We both have corporate health cover, but I’m confused if a Term Insurance plan is necessary for my partner? Since we both contribute significantly to our monthly investments and future goals, does it make sense for both to have independent term plans, or is it overkill?
  2. Mid-Cap Concentration: Between the active Midcap fund, the Midcap Index, and the Large & Midcap funds, are we over-exposed to this segment?
  3. Small Cap Hike: I’m planning to bump the Axis Small Cap SIP from ₹2k to ₹10k. Is it better to do this now or wait for a market cool-off?
  4. Portfolio Consolidation: We have 10+ line items in the image, are we good or need changes?
