Earliest level you’ve seen a Mutant Overlord ?

I’ve been getting back into Fallout 3 as I’ve never done a comprehensive play through, and seeing as I’m not as bad as games as I was when I was 12 I decided I’ll do it on Very Hard to challenge myself.

After some Bobblehead collecting I’m kicking off GNR and there’s a fucking Mutant Overlord in the Museum of Technology! I thought being from Broken Steel they wouldn’t spawn until at least level 20 yet here he is at level 14 ready to 2 shot me. Also kinda crazy that in 75% through the base game progression after collecting a few Bobbleheads and only doing Chapter 1 of the survival guide.

Is it normal for them to show up around this level ? The extra xp from very hard seems more like a punishment instead of a reward now.

EJ6 Coupe Essentials

Just after purchasing a Ej6 coupe and wondering about all the essential work I should do as a precaution before getting her driving again. Previous owner bought it as a project and while it drives fine it’s only done 10k kilometres over the last decade or so. The engine is a non-vetc 1.6 with only 200k kilometers.

A basic service was performed by the seller along with a new radiator and battery. I plan to change the spark plugs, coolant and transmission fluid also myself to be safe.

The underside was sandblasted and painted but I also plan to get it on a lift and go over the bodywork with a fine tooth comb. There’s small spots of surface rust around the rear arches and boot I want to address immediately but from the inspection pre-purchase all panels felt solid and there was no bubbling so hopefully there’s not too much hidden damage to address as I do live in a country that rust prone cars don’t survive long in.

I’d like to know what other recommended preventative maintenance I should do to keep this car in the best shape I can for as long as possible. Also any tips or tricks and oem or oem+ additions to keep the original feel of the car with some improvements.
