What is this for/from? Found in my grandfathers workshop.

Not sure what this chalky white stuff is but that might have come later.
My grandparents did travel a lot when they were younger and we did find a box with coins from around the world including old nazi ones if that could be related.

Do I need to badger a new PintX?

I recently bought a Pint X and am loving it. Then it started raining so I tried to make some research. All the online discussion is about the larger boards like the GTs, or is multiple years old and I saw some mentioning that the newer boards are significantly better waterproofed.

I’m not planning to take it swimming but I use it for my commute so will need it to handle rain and eventually snow.

So, does a modern Pint X still need badgering or is it good enough as-is?

Need to know for a first timer

I remember seeing Mount and Blade: Warband when I was younger but was never able to buy it. Recently, I’ve become enamoured with it again so am tempted to finally play it.

I’m no stranger to playing older games and I don’t mind the dated graphics. I’m just worried it’s gonna be one of those games that’s only good if you have the nostalgia for it. Should I go for Bannerlord instead?

Main question: is Warband still good for someone who’s never played a Mount and Blade game?
Second question: I’ve seen a lot of mentions of modding. Are there any mods you’d consider essential or good for a first timer (like patches or QoL stuff)?

Thank you for any advice!

Is there an easier way to get just the rule set

I saw this around a while back but now it's out of stock everywhere if it's even listed. Is the only option to get the starter set with the titans and knights if I want the strategic assets and angle templates?
I've scoured re-sellers and marketplaces but no one seems to be selling those. I already have a rulebook, blast/flame templates, dice, weapon- and stratagem cards so feels like a bit of a waste to buy so much again but I suppose in a pinch I can try and sell that stuff to make some money back.

Allies for Legio Astorum recommendation?

I’ve just finished my first Maniple of Titans. I chose Legio Astorum cause I love their colours and later on found I like their lore as well. Their game rules aren’t the most engaging, however, but I’m learning to love that to.

I have 4 more Warhounds (long story) to build and I’m struggling to decide wether they should be Legion Astorum as well or if I should do an allied Legio to go with them.

My current maniple is a Mandatum though that’s mainly because that’s what I have the titans for. I plan to get another Warlord and do a Regia cause the Warlord is my favourite titan class.

I’m leaning toward Audax and just fully embracing the Warhound spam and the Ursus Claws sound really cool even if I have no idea how useful they actually are. Their rules and lore are also pretty interesting.

I’m not super read up on the other legios either in terms of lore or rules, though, so I’m looking for suggestions and ideas, either of legios that look good alongside Astorum, play well with their rules or just play well and are fun in their own right. Only thing to know is that I’m not a super big fan of the reaver just aesthetics wise. I prefer the hunched look of the other Titans.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!
