I’m curious for anyone who works as a garbage tech whether it’s municipality or normal business what’s it like? I always hear that the pay great and if youre working for a municipality they usually offer great benefits but what is it really like? I’m at a dealership and not often have I worked on a garbage trucks but the few times that I have I noticed that everything usually is pretty damn stuck on there? Any insight?

I’m wondering if anyone here has used the ingersol electric line up of tools. I know they have pretty damn solid airguns and I wonder if that’s the same case with their electric tools. Any opinions?

Title sums it up. I work for a dealership, I focus on newer Mack’s and Volvos both 12v and 24v battery systems. I’m in the market to get a battery tester since the shops one gets busy sometimes but I’m unsure what brands too look into. Any recommendations on a good battery tester I can buy?

Unsure if this is the right subreddit for this but I’m curious on what is it like being a hydraulic mechanic? I am a diesel mechanic already and I don’t know much about hydraulic as in pistons and rams but I’ve seen videos of mechs tearing them apart replacing seals and what not but that’s all I know about this field. I was wondering if anyone else is in this field and would care to share how is it in your field?
