I love writing complicated original characters and getting invested in stories filled with psychological horror, angst, action, drama, MxM romance, and darker themes. While I enjoy heavy subjects, I also appreciate slower-paced stories where the characters have time to develop naturally. A slow-burn romance is exactly the kind of dynamic I'm looking for.

I already have an OC, a plot, and even a starter prepared that I'd absolutely love to write, so let me introduce you to the premise.

Muse A (my OC) owns a casino somewhere in Sochi, Russia. It's the only casino he owns, and unlike the flashy establishments most people picture, it's quiet, vintage, and highly exclusive. Not everyone is welcome—only people with influence, money, or the right connections. Ironically, Muse A rarely gambles himself. Whenever he visits, he usually spends his time sitting at the bar with a drink, casually talking with the bartender while the night unfolds around him.

One evening, however, a new group walks through the doors. They seem to be accompanying Muse B (your OC). At first, Muse A doesn't think much of it...

...but that quickly changes.

The story itself doesn't have to be overly complicated. I'm perfectly happy with a lighter pace and a slow-burn romance, though the plot carries a darker undertone that gradually reveals itself as the story progresses.

A few things I'm looking for:

• Please be 20+.

• I'd love for you to have an interesting original character. Since my OC is 35+, I'd prefer yours to be around the same age (30+).

• Writing experience, good communication, and enthusiasm for brainstorming together are important to me.

• I don't tolerate ghosting. If something isn't working, I'd much rather we simply communicate honestly.

For context. I met this person on Amino, and we became good friends, after a while we began talking about OCs and writing and decided to write together. Now keep in mind, my starters and replies in general are long, I'm talking above 5k characters sometimes even above 10k characters (without spacing).

Due to that, of course I understood that good and long replies can't be forced or rushed- so I was fine with waiting for two to three weeks (with daily ooc chatting)

So we settled down on a story. I sent in my starter. They replied after a week, I replied, they replied.

(I still have story saved. Because it was my ever favorite RP in my whole 6 years of roleplaying, we were a perfect match with everything, OCs, story ideas, reply lengths, passion... yk)

But with their last reply they began rushing me to reply... And I did. I spent like 6 hours pulling a reply out of my ass (because I was kept being rushed). After that.... crickets.

My last reply was April 25th 2025.

However, as time passed I'd ask them anything about replying, not being pushy! I first asked like after two months...To which they said they were out of writing mood, and I was like okaaayy- they'll get to it at some point. After like another two months we even stopped chatting OOC. And some time later(a year later 😬) I decided to delete the server just because I didn't need the clutter.

Honestly they were a great friend, amazing writer. But after that drainage it took me MONTHS to get back into roleplaying again.. Has anything similar happened to you?

Heya dear peeps who see this! I haven't been on reddit for a loong time. But here I am. You might remember I posted art of my OC Theo some time ago, but if not- that's okay!

I'd looove to brainstorm and introduce my Theo to other OCs. Maybe even write stories n roleplay but I'm rather picky with those.

However I'm always open to shipping my OC, writting headcannons and drawing with others. So don't fear to text me if you have an intriguing Gangsta OC.
