Can’t do this

I’ve been following this low FODMAP diet for my SIBO maybe about 80 to 85% of the time and it’s so hard it’s almost not even worth it because I have such a small list of foods that I’m allowed to eat and it’s driving me absolutely crazy. I feel guilty for not really following it close to a T. I just don’t know how to follow it all day every day and I’ve been trying to follow this for about 6 to 8 weeks and I feel like I’m losing my mind. There’s some days I follow it perfectly and there’s other days I follow it 80% perfectly. On top of that I found out I have a complete dairy intolerance so I can’t even add aged cheese to anything. And my intolerance test showed that consuming grain and fruit at the same time cause inflammation. I wish my natural path would give me a strong antibiotic to get rid of this hydrogen SIBO. We’ve been doing a tincture and ginger capsules. I just wanna wipe it out completely and get back to normal.

My daughter is almost 4, and I am struggling very badly with her behavior

My daughter is going to turn four next month and her behavior is so out of control. There’s nothing that I can say or do to try and shift her behavior into a positive way there’s so much boundary testing yelling screaming hitting biting you name it just from the start of the day until the sun goes down and I don’t know what to do anymore.

I’ve given up today.

I wish she’d listen more. Time outs do not work with her, taking toys away doesn’t work, talking doesn’t work. Nothing works. I feel like I’m raising a horrible mean girl.

We went to the park today and shes chasing a 2 year old around to share a toy yelling at her. I tried to explain shes 2 years old and 2 year olds don’t always understand sharing so try and wait to play with the toy. That turned into screaming at me that I’m mean she doesn’t like her.

When we got home, I was busy in the kitchen and she was asking me to find a toy for her in the garage. I told her I’m busy right now. Can you wait until I’m done and she kept screaming at me and she hit me in the back, so I picked her up to put her in timeout and told her we do not hit and then she bit me in the shoulder.

I put her in timeout and she just left the timeout laughing at me.

She’s so bossy and mean to everyone. Demanding people to do this or that. And I can’t redirect her ever. I feel like I’m failing.

What’s even more frustrating about this is that we will have a good day together in the next day. She is an absolute terror just from like the moment she wakes up. It’s just chaos and I can’t do anything all day to switch her mood and into being nice and enjoyable to be around. It’s just she’s a walking tornado every other day it seems.

Best earplugs?

My boyfriend snores very loud, it’s heroic level snoring and I can hear him 2 rooms over. I currently use loop ear plugs and wear a blackout eye mask that has speakers over ears to play fan noise. It doesn’t always solve the problem to not hear him. Sometimes I can quite literally feel the bass of his snores in the bed lol curious if anyone has found ear plugs that drown out snoring completely? I’m tired of moving to the couch sometimes middle of the night or having him move. I want to sleep next to him! He is making an appointment for sleep study, just need something for the time being!

Whole house mood is dependent on how my mother is feeling that day

I live at home with my parents, both are 59. I’m 33 and my daughter is 3. I had to move back home with her due to situational things and plan to move out hopefully in a year or so! Anyways ever since I was a child the whole households mood is dependent on how my mothers mood is. If she’s in a bad mood, we can all feel it and are all in a bad mood. She will make snide comments, be snippy, short, rude etc and no one can say anything to her without an explosion. She will angry clean, slam things, victimize herself, talk in a very deep short tone of voice. She’s doing it now and my heart is pounding and I’m feeling so fucking irritable. She blames her bad moods on my dad all the time, but he will be in a fine mood. What I’ve noticed is he calls out her shitty behavior and she will be in a tornado of a bad mood for days and days and days. I don’t even know why they’re married still. They fight constantly, my mom will be so angry and sulk around the house crying slamming things. It’s such a miserable way of living and it’s been this way since I was a kid. It’s just exhausting. And then she acts offended when everyone else is in a bad mood around her and sighs and pouts. I can’t wait to move out and distance myself. That’s what I did when I moved out before and my life was so peaceful.

Just diagnosed with hydrogen SIBO

I have always had digestive and bowel issues for as long as I can remember. I’m 33 now and even as a kid was running to the toilet. I developed eczema all over my face in September after starting birth control and was on prednisone 6 times. I am off the pill and prednisone as of December. I gained ~30 pounds quickly during that time too. Anyways I am now seeing a naturopath and have SIBO, dairy intolerance and cannot have fruit/grain combo as well. All of it is adding up to the intense painful bloating, non stop diarrhea, eczema, joint pain, fatigue, brain fog, weight gain. I am doing a stool test as well to see how my large intestine is because I’ve been dealing with 20-25 years of issues even as far as when I have diarrhea sometimes it’s just blood, I had a colonoscopy like 7 years ago and it was normal so who knows what’s going on. Blood work comes back normal. I’ll be starting a tincture treatment for SIBO as well as ginger SAP capsules after stool test. I’m am on a low fodmap diet and it’s so freaking hard. Doing my best with it. I’m kind of down because this diet isn’t fun, I know it’s temporary but shoot it’s annoying lol

Ice cream attachment

I want to make homemade ice cream but wondering if the ice cream attachment is a must or can I get away with making it only in the steel bowl?

Edit: I bought the ice cream attachment it’ll be here this weekend. Super excited!
